I believe I can lose the 100 lbs I need to lose. You say how did you get 100 lbs overweight? First I had to eat for wbc's, then I hit the over 50 mark, then I found out I like cake and frosting, then my back kept going out, and then my feet went out. Long story short, I waay over ate without exercising. This is a good series, she did a lot of work on the books and I hope she makes a million dollars for the work, effort and care she has put into this series. I don't know why it was given away, but I am impressed with the series and I figure it may give me a few more years.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this engaging recipe book. Emma Green shares her story of weight loss encouraging readers that it is a journey they undertake emphasising health and safety. The author has 50 recipes ranging from breakfast, lunch to dinner! The recipes are easy to follow! There's no illustrations of the food in the ebook version. This is my go to book for quick and easy Ketogenic recipes!!
I will try a few recipes from this book but for a keto recipe book she uses a lot of honey and maple syrup which, by the way, are not keto-compliant ingredients. Sometimes she uses stevia which is compliant but sometimes she combines stevia with maple syrup. Anyway a lot of the recipes look pretty good but they aren’t necessarily keto. I do think the author is very good hearted and just trying to share her own experience.
This book took me some time to finish because I started out making a list of which one's to try making, and then I did start. It was a great beginning to my own Keto journey. Finished Feb 2021
