The Legend of Dalton Manor Series will take you on a wild ride through the 4 original books in this series. The protagonist Ally is a small-town girl who loves her family and home, but when the largest employer in town closes its doors her world is turned upside down. Problems she never saw coming plague not only the town but her father. Resulting in heartache and disappointment. Years later she heads off to college to get far from home. Little does she know she'll get further from home than she ever thought possible. While attending the colleges Halloween party at a nearby manor, which she's told is haunted, she initially scoffs at the legend. However, later that evening she realizes she was terribly wrong. Transported into an unbelievable world of fantasy Ally is held captive with no way out. The hidden, magical and terrifying place she now inhabits is filled with eternal love, unimaginable secrets and a centuries old battle between good and evil. Will she settle for surviving or will she fight to get her life back?

9 books2 followers If you’ve read my author bio on my website or wherever my books are sold, you’re aware I began asking, “Why?” as a child. It drove my dad crazy, so he started asking me, “Are you writing a book?” Well, decades later I’m still asking, “Why?” and yes, I do write books. I really wish my dad had lived long enough to see me become a writer.
As an adult, I now realize it’s because my mind wants, or needs, to know why something works, doesn’t work, where it originated and so much more. My brain is always searching for answers, which makes enjoying a movie or TV show a bit of a challenge. I have learned to keep my mouth shut when watching television with others. Mentioning what’s coming next only ruins movies/shows for family and friends.
I have realized what is obvious to me isn’t for those around me. In no way am I trying to be a know-it-all, but I can plainly see the plot unfolding, leaving me disappointed I figured out the ending. I’ve been right more times than I’ve been wrong. I’m actually thrilled when I’m wrong. I thoroughly appreciate the writer(s) surprising me.
Combining my inquisitive mind with my love of writing is a joy for me. I love writing, from letters to actual stories. When it comes to my book writing I’ll admit I try my darnedest to surprise my readers. During my writing process, I find myself asking “Why?” which is a little strange, but if I’m wondering about something surely my readers will too. Not all questions are answered of course. I want to leave room for readers to ponder, “What happened next?” “Why did so and so do….” “What would I have done?” and anything else that spurs a conversation.

The Legend of Dalton Manor Series is full of great reads!
This book has the full series and I really enjoyed all the stories! I think the author did a great job pulling me in and holding my attention! I think the stories are written well. I think the author did a great job mixing real life and fantasy. I think this is a great read if you enjoy fantasy or looking for a great gift for a fantasy lover.

An intriguing well-written story with complex characters that kept me guessing. There were characters I cheered for, some I booed and others I couldn’t make up my mind about. Even up to the climactic ending. The story is a mixture of magic, mystery, romance and so much more, leaving me with an array of emotions.
