Fast-paced thriller

Nita’s life changes drastically when she finds her jock boyfriend, Adrian, dead in his home, and she becomes the main suspect. Nita is cleared of the crime quickly by the police, but her community still believes she is guilty. Still grieving the death of her boyfriend and trying to deal with the scrutiny of her entire town, Nita begins investigating Adrian’s death. Putting her family, her friends, and herself in danger, she’ll stop at nothing to uncover the truth about Adrian’s death and clear her name.

Hardy has penned a fast paced YA thriller with an intriguing plot and relatable characters. Diving into the seedy underbelly of a town’s otherwise quiet community, Hardy takes readers on an interesting journey.

I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy YA mystery thrillers.
