In his third book Chaim Bentorah finds that after having discovered and exploring Gods heart, He found himself moving more in an Eastern or Semitic approach to his word studies. Rather than allowing his mind to rule his heart he found God's heart ruling his mind in his word studies. He began to feel a freedom to allow God's heart to rule His mind. When He did this He discovered that He was no longer searching or exploring the Heart of God, He was now resting in the Heart of God.
Very much enjoyed this look at the different Hebrew words for rest and the biblical application of them. I learned a lot about Hebrew and felt close to our Savior as I saw rest from their language. I have no Hebrew education and I followed along just fine.

This was so pleasing to read and so eye opening. It’s amazing what the original languages of the written word show us about God. They are as complex and deep like He is. I am definitely diving into more.
This is a fine devotional book that calls the reader to pay close attention to the deeper meaning of the Hebrew texts. The author uses fine illustrations and demonstrates a true knowledge of God Almighty and His divine love. At times, I get a bit lost with the explanation of how each individual letter might mean something, but overall, each book I read of this author I learn something new and helpful for my ministry. I recommend it heartily.
I looked forward to reading this every morning. It is definitely an encouragement to love God more
I enjoyed the insight into the Hebrew language as well as the author's personal reflections. What an amazing journey in discovering that the lo e of God is more deep and multifaceted than we can even imagine.
