When their sanctuary suddenly becomes a prison, Katerina and the gang must work together to save not only themselves, but everyone else in the remote, alpine retreat.
Secrets are revealed and new identities are discovered as the princess delves into her past, uncovering things she never thought possible. Awakening a hidden power buried within.
The stakes have never been so high, and everyone’s a target. Can the princess unlock the ancient magic in time? Can they find a way off the mountain before disaster strikes? Most importantly, in a world where everyone’s out to get them…
…Who can they trust?
Be careful who you trust. Even the devil was once an angel.
The Queen's Alpha Series: Eternal Everlasting Unceasing
USA Today Bestselling Author, W.J. May, continues her spell binding series, with Unceasing. Continue on the journey as the gang races to escape Katerina's brother's clutches.
Wanita May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario - St.Catharines. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.
The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.
At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.
But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.
Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.
Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).
After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.
Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.
She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.
Meh. The first book in this series was interesting, the second starting needing side eye, and this one I barely finished.
The whole time reading this installment I just kept thinking...where did the plot go? And what happened to these previously interesting characters? I’m struggling to like them.
Dylan was so promising in the first book but is now just this odd, weak-willed, almost petulant presence that I don’t even care about.
Cassiel the supposedly hotass powerful fae doesn’t really add value though his crush on Tonya is cute. He would usually be my favorite type of character but he runs so hot and cold that he’s kind of a write off. And the plot is inconsistent with him; he’s said to be about 100 years old, but at one point talks about being around before the big fae war, which was stated to be 500 years ago? Wut. All the strife of the world this takes place in is murky as hell and makes the story feel flimsy.
Tanya is cool. I think I still like her. But how is this broad running around on a broken leg?
Come to think of it all of these people have been operating normally with grievous injuries sooooo. Yeah. Veto.
Then there is Princess Katerina. I feel like I could like her again if she would just fucking do something. There’s lots of angst and no action. Plus now we have lots of “zomg are you my boyfriend” angst with Dylan that is not doing it for me. The last couple pages of the book she does actually have a breakthrough but it just felt like a weird tacked on event that made no sense.
I wish I liked this series better because the first book was cool albeit short.
This is a reminder to myself not to buy the fourth one because I won’t like it. Don’t do it, self.
I thoroughly enjoyed. My own personal issue was the blatant use of today's slang. 'Bromance' was the one that made me cringe the most. There were plenty of others but I tried to ignore. Would have been 5 stars if the author didn't throw those throughout.
3.5 but giving it 4 stars because it was my favorite of the series so far, by far. Actually found myself gasping and laughing at things that happened, I think this series finally grasped me forrealsies. I still think the "What the heck!??!!" When like... fellas you already have the "seven hells!" swear why ain't y'all just saying hell... riddle me that PLEASE it makes me giggle each time. Still think it's cringe BUT I guesssss I'm endeared.
Having lots of fun reading this series. #MICHAELSWEEP and #ROSESWEEP loved the new characters introduced this book (especially Michael he reminds me of an OC I have 😭😭), and don't get me started on the SETTING.... GUHHHH WRITTEN FOR ME !!!!!!!
Initially I owned the books 1-3 omnibus, so after finishing this book I faced the decision to either drop or continue it (money on the line). Pleased to say that I'm the proud new owner of books 4-6 as well, and I'm very excited to start reading them!!!
I read books 2 and 3 in one day (the same 12 hours but it rolled into the next calendar date). They are short, and while the worldbuilding is shaky and juvenile (but I DO like it), the dialog and characters often cringe (but I LOVE it), and there's always a few things that just don't quite make sense (not a fan), I think these books are very very fun. I like them a lot. 🧡
oh my god and the end of this book actually was a surprise I gasped 😭😭... guhhhh and the relationship progressions across the board buehhhhh really loved this book compared to the other two (and I liked the other two already!!). Not a fan of cliffhangers but this book is a much less severe offender than the second and ESPECIALLY the first in that specific regard.
So one of the bad things about this series is that I can’t really give any details, mainly because it would give away the plot. I loved the ending. I didn’t see it coming. Honestly I was thinking Kat was something else. I’m so glad that Kat isn’t a paranormal that I was thinking of because then my own idea for a book still works lol It’s a fast read. I’m devouring this series. ^_^ I think this adventure is good for 15 and older.
F I N A L L Y. God I knew she couldn’t just be human but this was beyond. Damn this series… talk about a slow burn! But it’s turning out to be worth it. Also Dylan’s royalty reveal? Don’t know how I didn’t see that coming but it makes sense. I’m so deep into this series at this point I know I’m going to finish it out. I still can’t get over the out-of-era language (it REALLY bugs me) but I’m doing my best to tune it out and just follow the plot, which seems to be increasingly promising.

I still like this a lot, bit I start to realise it's a story that's little inconsistent... I'll continue reading.
I'm slightly irritated about the drinking part in this series. And Kat is a little whiny :-( What's annoying me is the impression the story is not finished. It jumps from places to places without the details needed. Maybe it's just the Kindle version, but it's starting to bug me.

If you've made it to this point you know how fantastic the characters are. And how fantastic the wit and emotion is written into the story. But the direction that the story tales with the plot twist wasn't quite where I expected it to go which makes the book that much more enjoyable!
I want to Live in this world. The world that has been created here is absolutely magical. With wizards, shifters, vampires and Fae there’s so much entertainment in this series. The performance by Zac is absolutely brilliant he captures the characters really well and the lightheartedness of the narration really carries the book forward.
I LOVED THIS SERIES! My ONLY critique is that I wish she hadn't mentioned twinkling eyes so much my. I read this book and series very quickly many of them in one sitting, and found myself dreaming of it's characters, yelling at them or for them, laughing, crying, I just got complete caught up on each book.
