For some reason I didn't enjoy this quite as much as the earlier books in the series. I find this hard to pin down. It seemed to take longer to get going, though the build-up towards the final climax was every bit as immersive as the previous stories. But throughout the book the ultimate stakes grew higher and higher, which bodes well for the volumes still to come…
