Alex Jameson is a regular guy who happens to love scaring his audience and inspiring nightmares. His fantastic debut novel, Clown Moon, has been followed by a darkly humorous series, The 100 Deaths of Lucas Graves.
This novella was so good I couldn't put it down until I finished reading it. In fact, I was so shocked when I got to the end. I hadn't even paid attention to how far along I was in the book. I am so excited that we are learning more and more about the characters and that Lucas isn't quite using his lives up as fast. I would hate to see his story end.
A truly unique storyline that combines thriller with fantasy in just the right mix. Characters are also unique with individual quirks that are enhanced by their ‘gifts’.
Lucas is still attempting to fulfill his Guardian responsibilities without dying too many times. As the series continues we see the people surrounding Lucas be given they’re own gifts, some of which are not even known. Between being chased by rogue Guardians and trying to remember what happened the night before they must work as a team. Kind of begs the question, do we all hold gifts inside us and is your friend really your guardian angel?
Awesome reading! This is a fantastic series, a lot different from the Cozy Mystery stories I read. The characters are awesome, and the storyline is entertaining.. a great read!
More people coming into this mess. I like all the characters that are here now. Wonder if more will be coming along. Although some of them are weird.loved the book.
wonderfully fun if you like dark humor and a little Supernatural Alex James and writes wonderful characters with great dialogue. fun to read if there is such a thing as a cozy Thriller this is it.
I was waiting so long for this new story and now I get it and it is too short. I did love what I read but now I hope I don't have to wait as long for book 7.
