Another blow-minding installment and well after reaching too far in the series I honestly can't predict what else is going to happen, this book, as well as the previous ones, had many twists and big revealings and of course the biggest one of all ...is guess what?... in the end, so as you understand we have another huge cliffhanger making want to jump right away in the next book...
I've many times about Ethan and Scarlett and one thing that I've noticed is how much the characters have grown (not literally) as
personalities.. well Ethan continues to do things that make me mad but I have a soft spot for him so every time I end up forgiving him. As for Scarlett she makes really proud cause she is a damn fighter, she tries her best to survive Ethan's action even the most painful ones and she succeeds in the most part.. she definitely overcame herself in this book!
Another thing that really intrigued me in this part was who really pulled the threads in this dirty game cause in every turn you could see that "almost" everyone had a part in "almost" everything... Did really the evil QB had all the good cards or not? And Ethan beat her this time? Will Scarlett and Ethan have finally their happily ever after? All these questions might or might not be answered in this part but it is another fascinating, suspenseful chapter which I really enjoyed reading it!!
So of course, I recommend reading the series. Furthermore, I can't wait to see what the author has prepared next for us!!

I really enjoyed this particular book in the series, because throughout it portrayed the brilliant emotional pull between Scarlett and Ethan. While Ethan eventually does marry Abigail, she knows he will never have the same feelings for her as he has for Scarlett; how could he when they are more like siblings than lovers. QB enacts a fitting punishment on Scarlett for daring to crash the wedding, but when Scarlett takes a fall, it leads to an unusual turn of events and an unexpected discovery. As the story develops more information comes to light about Scarlett’s mother and Ethan’s father which adds to the overall mystique, and leaves the door open for the next book in the series.
Ethan’s destiny is to take over from QB; a position he has been trained for his whole life. With Scarlett, Ethan had let himself fall for a dream that had no chance to become real; even so they have their intimate moments and memories. But as far as Ethan is concerned, it is his fiancée, Abigail, that he will wed, a union that has been arranged since the two were young. Nevertheless, Scarlett tries everything to convince Ethan that they belong together; that they are soul-mates, but it is all to no avail, his duty to his family has to come first. When Ethan brings his marriage forward, Scarlett decides to make one last attempt to convince him he is making a mistake, but a drastic turn of events ensue, and QB has just the fitting punishment for Scarlett’s transgression. Scarlett’s subsequent illness becomes another complication, once again putting her life in danger. As doubts are cast about what really happened to Scarlett’s mother and Ethan’s father, Ethan’s attempts to discover the truth, prompts an unexpected visit from QB. What QB has to say is clearly unexpected, leaving Scarlett in a state of flux. Now Scarlett has only one course of action left open to her; and this cliff-hanger of a story continues in the next book in this series. If you have not yet had a chance to read this series, then it is certainly one I would have no hesitation in recommending. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Oh wow! Reading the words to Scarlett realizing she can't have Ethan is heart wrenching. She went through captive torture with only one thought keeping her going, thinking of Ethan. Now she can no longer have him because he's getting married to Abigail.
That is just one of many situations to unfold in this book. This book had nonstop packed action in it. Even at the end of this book I still don't believe her words. Of course, this amazing book ends on another cliffhanger. I can't wait to read Power 6!

Loved itii
I am in love with this series. I really enjoyed reading this series. I am really upset that I have to wait on book 6 to come out. Power 5 was very entertaining, adventurous, horrific, and sexy. When you read this book your emotions will be all over the place.

Wow! What a storyline!
Reading the fifth book of POWER was just as amazing as the other four! This book has everything to keep it's readers on edge, but wanting it to never end! Can barely wait until POWER book six is available!

I loved this story and I'm not happy that we have to wait a while for the next book.
There are over 13 characters in this book and I was able to keep up with them. There was 1 character I wish was written a different way. But all in all the books were outstanding.

Power 5 is everything the Power series has lived up to be, mysterious, dirty, gritty, erotic and filled with many hold your breathe moments. Like the tug of war in Game of Thrones, (yes it’s that good if not better) the brutality and victimising by the manipulative QB, Ethan’s grandmother, toward Scarlett and anyone who stands in her way is ominous, even toward her own grandson Ethan. This time QB’s desperate enough to be willing to get her hands dirty. As always, Liv Bennett’s prose is nothing short of riveting storytelling.
Power 5 showcases Ethan’s and Scarlett’s struggle and this book is no less engaging although far less stressful and brutal than Power 1-4. Here we are coming full circle from book 1 back to Ethan and Scarlett and our fascination with their plight to get their happily ever after. The question is will we see it? Ethan has one hell of struggle trying to get answers from so many secrets, do the right thing by his family by stepping up to take control and at the expense of his relationship with Scarlet. Scarlett is not prepared to let him go so easily though. Will she continue to fight for him, even though it looks like a losing battle. Will this be their happily ever, after or their demise.
Get power 5 and you won’t be disappointed.
