I just cannot get over you two and I am losing sleep because of the adaptation for weeks now 😩 I am literally praying for this phase to get over.

*February 2022 Rereading cos the series adaptation is LIVE! Currently on episode 1 💝

So so obsessed with you at the moment 💓

Enemies, are we???!

Love the nerdy weirdos as MCs 😱💘

They are really nerdyyyyy. And that got my heart beating and carry on with the ongoing 24 chapters!

Game developer and a coder, eh?

I like them both. In real life, we would be besties you two!

Love the artstyle. Serious and humorous. Hot and funky at times. I need more.

Their chemistry is brimming. It just needs more chapters to explode.

So, yes. Give me more updates!

So I moved on to the light novel from the manhwa (couldn’t wait for S2 to arrive when the light novel is already completed!!) and lads, they both are just as brilliant as each other. I mean y’all, this is one of the best Yaoi “enemies to lovers” stories I’ve ever read this year. I just loved the art and both unique personalities of Jangwoo & Jaeyoung are just *chefs kiss*. I have no doubt that the kdrama will be just as great as the other materials.

Just read this gorgeous Yaoi everyone, you won’t regret it!

Чудова манхва. Не яой. Кого смішить Шелдон Купер з ТВВ, то вам сподобається ця смішна, затишна історія. Навіть колись зняли дораму. Друге прочитане в 2026 та теж попадання у топ 😊🥰

4.5 ⭐️
I finally finished all the side stories, all thats left for me is the few extras that I will read tomorrow, but wanted to review the core novel

overall, i had a really good time with this book. i had been in a tough reading slump for over a month where i had no desire to read any novels and could only get myself to read manwha, but decided to pick up the physical copy at b&n because I had a coupon. instantly i felt myself drawn to the story, one because the main characters actually being my age was refreshing to read about. Sangwoo is very autistic coded, and it was extremely interesting to read about things from his perspective and how he processes things, because my own personality is much more aligned to Jaeyoung. However, the way Sangwoo was hesitant to realize his own feelings and constantly ran away rather than face things head on when it came to emotions and situations he was uncomfortable and unsure about, i resonated with that a lot. Going between the two perspectives and how they each viewed and processed the growing relationship between them from being enemies and pissing eachother off, to friends with benefits, to being engaged and planning their wedding was lovely. while they have very different outlooks, their feelings overall were the same.

I will say that sometimes it is frustrating to read because the miscommunication can be so strong that I wanted to shake them both and have them think things through. My biggest complaint so to speak would be there were definitely a few moments where both of them did some “questionable” things where I found myself thinking “i dont know about this one…” it sometimes almost felt a bit noncon except when you read the other’s perspective its definitely mutual (just sometimes things came off a little too dub-con for my liking). the topic of sex is a huge part of this story and a large part of their relationship. There were times when I was thinking “theres no way they can be this horny all the time right” but then again, I also do think the way they talked about the fear of intimacy and also the experience of having sex for the first time was very realistic and relatable.

The main story ending ends on a nice scene but it was a bit abrupt, however, the side stories were really great at getting a glimpse into their lives after they became a couple and what they did after graduating. I liked seeing them be successful in America and have a house and a cat and planning their wedding. The one with Jaehong though just felt sort of off to me, one because I felt like the way Jaeyoung talked in most of that extra just didnt really feel like his character, but also him getting mad at Sangwoo for role playing even though he literally started it. Most of the time I understand when Jaeyoung got frustrated but I was like “YOU LITERALLY STARTED THIS!! IT WAS YOUR IDEA!!” and the smut scene that came after definitely went into dub con territory.. Jaeyoung just does some stuff sometimes throughout the story that I just find questionable.

Theres also a LOT of smut in this book which I did not realize going in since this was my first time reading a BL Knovel. Not complaining, I just wasnt expecting such detailed scenes and so many of them to boot. The manwha to my understanding is pretty fade to black so if you wanted more smut, the novel has it all for you

This was a lot of nonsense talking and nitpicking at little things but I genuinely did have a really fantastic experience reading this story and it was very interesting and more on the realistic side of love which I appreciated. Besides my minor gripes with some stuff I probably would have rated it 5/5 simply for getting me out of my awful reading slump and motivated to dive into more knovels! If you want an enemies to lovers, academic college setting, neurodivergent representation, this book will probably check the boxes for you!! I definitely plan to read the manwha soon as well!

It's a korean web novel ( bl) about a super serious guy whose world gets shaken after a senior comes into his life who's like the exact opposite of him in every way. I don't read romance really but it was so cute I love it.

I don't know it's intentional or just a coincidence but it's so obvious that sagwoo is autistic coded. As an autistic person it makes me so happy.

I read the first season of the manhwa on one go and I loved it so much I ended up reading the webnovel hehe.

This novel is not my cup of tea. I read a few chapters, the story did have a great flow and did have a nice plot. The novel really expressed the character's feeling due to that, I deeply sympathize with Chu Sang Woo when his life/schedule was disrupted. Jang Jaeyoung's way was very unsettling to me, let's leave at that. I dropped the novel, chances that I read this again is low.

ohhhh, finally an autistic MC!!! i’m loving the (so far unofficial) ASD-representation!😍

oh, and FYI? i’m completely OBSESSED with this manhwa. i can’t believe how turned on i’ve been for the past… two hours or something. the sexual tension is NO JOKE!!! they’re so awkward and clumsy with each other, i love it. and, once again, it’s so refreshing seeing some ASD-representation! even though they haven’t explicitly said anything about that or whatever… but as someone with autism herself, it’s been clear as day since chapter one, lol. amazing. this just keeps getting better and better! so excited for the future. <3

edit: it’s finally complete now! reading this has been such a joy. i adore this couple.✨

Strong characterization and an immediately engaging plot marks a top-notch first season of Semantic Error. It’s the old Apollonian personality type - scientific, rational, rigid - being attracted to its opposite, the Dionysian spirit of free flowing, emotional artistry. (While I’m an artist, I’m also a university administrator, so I find myself swinging between these poles on a daily basis).

An online colleague recommended this title to me, and I’m glad she did. It’s available on Manta, a relatively affordable platform for manga and manhwa. The storytelling, both visual and narrative, is excellent. Soori Jeo has clearly mastered the medium, and I’m very much looking forward to season 2.

UNFORTUNATELY, ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO EXPLICIT OR OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT (other than it being BL/Lgbtq) AMAZON HAS THIS BL MARKED AS “UNDER REVIEW.” Amazon is now in the position of being an international censor and arbiter of what information we are permitted to access. The problem is that, unlike major publishing houses and brick and mortar bookstores, which historically have extensive editorial review processes, Amazon has essentially no curatorial or editorial process for identifying truly problematic content from perfectly acceptable content. When asked, Amazon refers to its mysterious and mercurial “community standards” as the guide for determining which content is permissible for the public to access. THE PROBLEM is that there really are no community standards other than some religion-obsessed nut case freaking out over a book they’ve never read and complaining to Amazon to get it removed (I’m exaggerating here, just to get the point across. In reality, complaints from both the political Left and Right can result in Amazon censorship, albeit its more likely that such complaints come from the narrow-minded Right, which currently has the emotional maturity of a melodramatic pre-pubescent tween).

For instance, some perfectly harmless and indeed positive BL - stories of perseverance, honesty, and deeply ethical characters who happen to be the same sex - ARE CENSORED AND DROPPED by Amazon, even as shockingly explicit, morally dubious content (often heterosexually oriented) is sold and promoted. There is NO RHYME OR REASON to their decisions. Why? Because Amazon blindly offers huge numbers of titles by using international databases of books and other materials.

THE PROBLEM: anyone can contact Amazon and object to a title, and Amazon, blindly, moves to drop the title based on no editorial standards and no real community standards other than allowing program algorithms to decide what we can and can’t have. So, a neurotic fundamentalist shacked up in an underground bomb shelter can decide what I can or can’t read. (See a Washington Post article on this subject at:

Enemies to lovers is always my favourite in a romance. And its also an opposites attract story which is cute.

I loved each and every page of this Manhwa. The truth is that I never expected that I liked it so much (I do not have a specific reason, but I am very prejudiced with what I am going to read)...

But it easily ended up being one of my favorite reads this year. The aesthetics of its pages is probably what kept me so in love from the beginning to the end 🥰🌈💯

Another aspect I love is the main characters.🛐✨
Sangwoo quickly became my favorite character; because I loved his attitude very much, everything in general. And to some extent I felt quite identified with him and his situation at the beginning. 😅🌟

And Jaeyoung definitely started with its overall design (I'm very observant with this kind of thing). Then I saw his personality and it was not entirely my liking, but still I could like it a lot; and I got to like it quite a bit. Finally the key moments of both characters arrived (I will not specify) and it was when I fell in love with Jaeyoung ... And even more with Sangwoo 🤓✨🔥

Jang Jaeyoung is a fine lookin' stud! Poor Chu Sangwoo, he was getting bullied yet, I couldn't stop laughing! Can't wait to see what happens next.
Also, I did see the first 3 episodes of the anime. Sucks, that there's no Eng translation yet. The artstyle is different from the manhwa but, I still like it. So far, there is more man-on-man action in the anime than the manhwa and I'm here for it lol

Sangwoo Choo is a computer science major at Hanguk University. When his groupmates fail to help with a group presentation, he purposely deletes their name off the project. Sangwoo is unperturbed about the consequences of his actions. He needs to find a replacement graphic designer to replace the one who bailed on him. Unfortunately, Sangwoo finds out the designer he wants is one of the groupmates he wronged. The senior is intent on harassing him as payback and destroying his orderly, routine-oriented world.
Jaeyoung Jang is a charismatic and talented design major – who intends to study abroad in America once he graduates. His plans get dashed when a certain underclassman deletes Jaeyoung’s name off a necessary project. When he tries to confront the student, the young man refuses to answer his texts and messages. An opportunity arrives for Jaeyoung when Sangwoo tries to hire him to work on his video game. He decides to mess with Sangwoo. However, things start to change between the two men.
Sangwoo reminds me so much of Sheldon Cooper from the television show, BIG BANG THEORY. They have the same demeanors, need for routines (and behavior when that gets disrupted), and their interactions with others. I can understand why many of his fellow classmates and professors did not get along with him. His personality is one many would have trouble with.
Jaeyoung is fun! And he is Sangwoo’s complete (aka polar) opposite. People gravitate towards his carefree, friendly personality. However, he tends to be on the lazy side and procrastinate. That, in no way, affects his artistic talent. I love his interactions with Sangwoo. Yes, at the beginning, he disrupts the younger man’s orderly life. Yet, Jaeyoung starts to pick up things that people either overlook or have no interest in bothering to notice.
I have heard of the manhwa for some time. It is a highly recommended read in the BL fandom. I just never got around to reading it (because I could not find it in paperback format. My preference). I watched (and enjoyed) the live action. So, when I saw the novel form offered in Netgalley, I decided to give it a try. And man, how it ended made me want the next volume immediately.

This was NOT what I expected at all... I've never watched the K-Drama, but I heard some things about it, so I assumed the novel would be somewhat like it. It was NOT.

So, all in all, if you are into bully romance disguised as enemies-to-lovers and enjoy sex scenes without romance, this is for you. It's definitely not for me.
