It just wasn't enough...

Overall the story wasnt a bad one. It takes place during the Winter Olympics where a snowboarder (Taylor) and a figure skater (Elle) meet and fall in love. Its a ln extremely fast burn love story with coming out issues, drug addiction, and heartbreak. The problem I have with it is the pacing...ita too fast. I get its a short story but geez...eliminate something so as a reader I can connect and find some depth. Honestly, it read more a skeleton of a story that given another 100 or even 50 pages (dont know what that would translate into word count) it would have potentially been great. Not a terrible read by any means and its free on kindleUnlimited.

This book was okay, I liked the mains and the story was decent and kept my interest.

But I have to admit, the book needs at least one more round of editing. Some events are rushed, the dialogue isn’t very natural sounding, and the ending was very bare-bones and much too fast. I like the story arc and technically the writing isn’t bad but there are some mistakes like “to” instead of “too” and stuff like that.

It has potential and the story was good, plus lots of girl-on-girl kissing, which makes me happy. Unfortunately the lack of polish on the manuscript only earns it...

Hooked from page one

A book that once you start, there is no putting it down. Such an amazing story line and characters through out!

I really enjoyed this book, but didn't care for the ending. The last2 chapters didn't do the rest of the book justice. Without giving anything away, if there was a "what happened in the meantime" chapter between the last 2 chapters, and another "wrap the story up" chapter at the end, this book would be a 5 stars. The abrupt ending killed a lot of my joy for this story.

Loving the Games

Two of the hottest sports superstars in their own sporting event Ella and Taylor have a whirlwind romance. Ms Lynn has written a beautiful short story that gracefully develops Ella and Taylor's relationship. Winter Games is a sweet story with nice happily ever after.
