Zane saves Eva from the cold wilderness and forbids her from leaving before she regains her health. Eva throws a fit and Zane smacks her ass, threatening to treat her like “his little girl” and not a proper grownup if she continues to vex him. Long story short, she vexes him alright, and plenty of spanking, domestic discipline, and sex ensues. Oh, and they’re both involved in a nefarious, illegal animal trapping scheme — but how can they stop these asshole hunters? You’ll never know ‘til you read.
This novella follows a daddy dom/little girl dynamic, and it’s done in as realistic a way as it can considering the circumstances. It’s not super hard-core and Eva mostly just refers to Zane as her “daddy” and finds ways to be a brat while they trapeze around the cabin. Eva and Zane also have real grownup conversations, and she doesn’t always like dressing up in that DD/lg sort of clothing. So it’s the best of both worlds I suppose.
The sex is good, but the romance is dull because I really didn’t give a shit about the characters. However, this is a short book so of course the characterization isn’t going to be stellar. It’s erotica.
If you’re into BDSM romances, and particularly this sub-genre, you’ll probably like it. It’s unremarkable but fun for an afternoon read.

I have ended up in a little bit a DD/LG stories spiral completely by accident. I read one, enjoyed it and another was recommended to me and that kept going until I have ended up reading 4 DD/LG stories in very quick succession! As a result they are all starting to blend into one, through no fault of the authors, but I think that I might need to give this theme a little bit of a rest.
However, overall, I enjoyed this story and it was a very easy read. Fairly predictable for the genre but you know what sometimes that is ok! 3 stars

Hot Daddy!!
Another hot and enjoyable quick read in the Dark Daddy Doms series. This one is the story of Zane, a mountain recluse and Eva, who he has rescued after she is hurt whilst hiking. Great writing and did I mention hot!!

♥♥♥ 3 Quick and Dirty Stars
The Good. Loved, loved, loved the plot behind this one. It was interesting but also fairly decent reason to have our MCs spend time together, which I appreciated. Also Zane Tyler was so hot.
The Bad. The pacing of this book was incredibly fast. Both the plot, the relationship dynamic, and the sexual chemistry suffered because of how quickly this one went. It easily could have used another 25-50 pages I think. Also the prairie dresses.
The Smutty. Overall it was pretty steamy, but the rushed nature of it made it hard to really get into. I find insta-trust in BDSM books sort of difficult to connect with. Trust takes a long time to develop.

I love, love, love Ava Sinclair's Daddy books. They are awesome. The Alpha Daddies aren't going to take any sass off their little girls and they are going to make sure that they are taken care of. I love reading anything that Ava Sinclair writes, so I was happy to get this one.
Eva is on the run. It's winter time in the mountains, but circumstances required her to leave where she was living and working quickly. She is an experienced outdoorswoman, so she is planning on hiking out to another town where she can get further away from her old boss. That was her plan, that is, until she fell down on the trail in bad weather and crawled into a cave where she could be safe. However, since she was disoriented, she wasn't doing anything she needed to be safe.
Zane is a rugged mountain man. While he was out checking his trap lines, he managed to see Eva hiding in her cave and knew that she needed to be taken care of. He manages to get her back to his cabin and starts to nurse her back to health. The only clothes he has for her are old-fashioned dresses and drawers that were left in the cabin, so he gives her those to wear. When she tries to escape and gets caught lying, he has no problem turning her over his knee and telling her to call him Daddy.
There are a lot of different places where Eva's and Zane's previous lives manage to interconnect in weird ways. They never met the other before Zane saved Eva, but that doesn't mean what one of them did didn't affect the other in some way. I loved how that worked. It was pretty cool. I also like how Zane not only listened to Eva's concerns and worries, but actively helped to come up with a solution that would handle her worries and still make things work the way that Eva and Zane want them to. He is still obviously in charge but he doesn't unilaterally make the decisions, which is awesome. I will definitely reread this book many times.

and wearing a DIAPER, she is confused and scared. The mountain man she sees
next has her more afraid, but she learns he found her and has been taking care of
her for almost a week before she wakes.
Zane Tyler is Eva's savior but she soon learns as she gains her strength, that lying
and acting out with Zane has consequences, if she is going to act like a child, she
will be treated like a child with restrictions and spankings.
There is much more about both Eva and Zane that they will learn eventually as they
learn to trust and earn affection from each other. Evil abounds in the woods and it
can be risky for either of them to leave the mountain for the civilized world.
I really loved how much care Zane has for Eva, even though she earns herself numerous
spankings, but she comes to realize his punishments come with lessons and love.

Omg Zane is a mountain man, he is one with the mountains and built like one. Mandy is on the run after stealing from her boss she got lost and hurt and found herself in a cabin withe the rugged mountain man. Her one mistake is lying to him and she will definitely have to pay for it and Zane does not mind disciplining Mandy he might like it a little too much. And Mandy may find herself not wanting to leave Zane.

Ava was rescued by Zane after falling while hiking through the wilderness. She is unable to leave when she regains consciousness due to the isolation and heavy snow. She initially judges Zane to be a bit uneducated only to discover he is anything but. They fall into an age play dynamic which I think surprises them both, neither having previous experience of it. It was interesting that aside from the age play elements, they were both able to have in depth serious discussions as adults as they shared interests in conservation and nature. I particularly enjoyed that aspect of the developing relationship. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an advance review copy.

This had a great story line if you enjoying reading about a Daddy Dom/little girl. This had very little BDSM in it and made a great reading of this short story. Zane and Eva were great strong characters that explore their kinky sexually activities but it doesn't take away from the story about protecting the animals and illegal poaching ring run by Zane's stepbrother and Eva's boss.

I adore Ava's DD books so I was pleased to see she had a new one out! I loved the blurb once I read it and couldn't wait to read it. Then I started reading it and was addicted, I couldn't put it down it was a late night read once it dropped on book sprout (I'm Australian). I adored the way that Zane took care of Eva when she was hurt and afterwards when he found out why she was on the run. These two had some serious chemistry and fate had a way of ensuring they found each other. It was a well written book, it was swoony, sweet, a bit sexy, and absolute joy to read.

A wonderful Daddy book and i really loved it. Ava Sinclair always has a knack of whatever she writes. This is a under two hour read that is sweet, but has a different spin on it , which i enjoyed. I love a spanking book and this had some scenes inside, but honestly the whole book was hot.
The Characters especially Zane wow i loved him, he was pure alpha, smart and worked with animals No spoilers with this book , but been a Ava Sinclair book it is really worth the read.

Would Eva have survived her fall if her Rugged Daddy hadn't found her, rushed her home, carrying her all the way himself. He took very good care of her as she recovered. This was a really good daddy dom story with a touch of age play added. It kind of rode the line between the two. I loved that Eva is able to be Zane's little girl but also knows when to stand up for herself. She is actually a really strong woman. Zane is strong wonderful "daddy" but hes not perfect and that makes him even more likable.
Not sure why this series is called Dark Daddy Doms. They are not particularly dark at all, but I am enjoying them.

Rugged Daddy is the second book in Ava Sinclair’s Dark Daddy Dom series. Yet again, Ms. Sinclair penned another age-play romantic suspense. I was fascinated with how she juxtaposes a petite, and emotionally damaged young do-gooder with a strong, intelligent, and dominant zoologist. I found her writing style easy to follow, her characters likeable, her dialog is rich, and her plotline a blend of romance and suspense. Nice job, Ms. Sinclair!

Rugged Daddy is another fantastic spanking romance from talented author Ava Sinclair. Zane and Eva have great chemistry. He is such a hot alpha male and he shows Eva that lying and acting up does have consequences which lead to a very hot bottom for Eva. The intimate scenes are explicit and absolutely scorching. I loved reading this book.

I really enjoyed Rugged Daddy. The story starts with the heroine forced to obey the hero by circumstances. Their relationship deepens into something more mature and it was nice to see that. I always enjoy Ava Sinclair's books and this was no exception.

This story has enough twists and turns to keep the reader fully engaged. It is so much more than a daddy story. The premise is original and the story flows so well. I really liked Zane and Eva. I thought the ending was fabulous. It is nice to see all needs being met.

The first book was significantly much better but this one has its moments. It's still a very vanilla take on daddy/ girl stories so there is an audience this is for, but for people like me there wasn't enough to cover up the lack of kink.

Dumb. Mountain cabin with city water (?!) and expects cabin to be off the map? Other stretches and story was boring. Uber and taxis and SWAT on-call in Whitefish? WTF?

Great way to begin the story. Zane seems to be an alpha mountain man type in Mandy/Eva's mind yet she realizes he is so much more. He takes such good care of her.
