Assumes familiarity with algebra, trigonometry, basic physics & a little calculus. If you have those, it's a wonderful resource.

Adventures in Celestial Mechanics is an interesting approach to teaching orbital mechanics. It is supposed to be an adventure but is more factual and direct than that. A textbook featuring adventures Of assume to contain fun or whimsical examples and functions. Instead it is a solid treatment of the topic. It is very informative and one can learn the basics from following this book.
I'd have preferred a more fun approach given the title.
