One day, the animals in the jungle find a potty and a note which says: "Only the best bottom of all will fit on this potty." Of course everyone has to try it on for size! Uh-oh. Zebra's bottom is too big, Giraffe can't bend low enough to reach, and Gorilla, well, Gorilla mistakes it for a hat. Now who in the world belongs on this potty? Laugh-out-loud situations will ease potty-training tensions A perfect fit for multicultural collections

Really? Is this book necessary? Well, I guess this book could be useful for young children resisting potty training. Children will certainly giggle at the many animals attempting to use the potty chair especially the gorilla who puts it on his head.
mommy: 5 stars: fun way to introduce your kids to potty training. Love the awkward angles as the animals try to fit in the potty. And I got a good chuckle when leave to go eat bc the tortoise was going to be awhile. My six and 4 year old still love the book. See below ratings at their current ages.
Leila: 5 stars: that the elephant peed all over the floor. And then they laughed at the elephant.
Maxwell: 5 stars, even though I wanna give it six. It is funny ; it’s fun; and it annoys grownups, bc it has a lot of bathroom words.
A potty is left in the jungle with a challenging note left next to it. Several animals try and meet the challenge, but only one will meet the challenge. This subtle, but fun book on toilet training is a treasure!
Oh good lord. There are certainly better potty books out there! My son kept asking for this one and finally I remembered to sneak it back to the library. Ugh.
We missed this in the post-potty purge because it got shoved in with the picture books. We did do a quick reread this evening, because this one was hilarious.
A brightly colored book with loads of animals and a potty. But which one fits on the potty? All the animals try, but it is a human child that comes out of no where and uses the potty in the jungle. I'm kinda torn up about this book. The illustrations are definitely the best part, but the surmise and the storytelling vie for lowest place.
Four stars for art, two stars for story, split the difference, and return it to the library. - E. Talamante
Whether any book is good or not depends on the reader. I appreciate other readers' comments regarding this book and can see how animals using the potty might inspire fun and success for some children while leaving others baffled. If this appeals to and inspires your young charges then it's a winner.
Add more variety to your potty training library with this book. Will encourage your child to try to sit on the potty (all of the animals try to unsuccessfully sit on the potty until the baby tries to and is successful).

This book is ridiculous and hilarious. I would not read this to kids, but it made a lot of adults laugh. It is just ridiculous to see all the animal butt cheeks.
A fun picture book about animals finding a potty in the jungle, and trying to use it. Naturally, the potty only fits a human bottom, as all the animals watch in wonder.
I didn't like this as much as I wanted to. The story really lacked something for me, but I gave it 3 stars because my daughter loved the illustrations.
