⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2! Blush Pink Rose, Prologue. How Thorn found his Rose!
Books in Rose & Thorn trilogy should be read in order:
Book 0.5: Blush Pink Rose - FREE!
Book 1: Blood Red Rose
Book 2: Pure White Rose
Book 3: Last Broken Rose
Blush Pink Rose (prologue) is the opening to the Rose & Thorn trilogy.
We are introduced to seventeen-year old Harlow Granger, aka Rose as she goes about her day training at the ballet studio, with big dreams of becoming a ballerina, then at night heading home to her sparse studio apartment, where she lives by herself.
Her lonely, isolated and sheltered existence makes her the perfect target for the mysterious Thorn…
Told from multiple POVs, it’s an intriguing opening to Thorn and Rose’s story. A dark romance with elements of BDSM offering an anti-hero who takes what he wants and makes no apologies for it. I’m looking forward to book 1, Blood Red Rose.

This is an interesting quick introduction of the main characters for the rest of the Rose & Thorn series. There's not a lot to it but it does make sure you're aware that this will be dark. I'm leaving my review under Fawn Bailey but reading the complete series under Isabella Starling.

This is a short but brilliant prequel to Fawn Baileys new series. No choice but I had to read this in one sitting.
I loved the storyline and can’t wait to read more about the characters. This is a great teaser to the series. I can’t wait to read more of the series. Great read.

This is a short but awesome prequel to Fawn Baileys new series. It is dark, delicious, steamy and fantastic. I loved the storyline and I am excited to read more about the characters introduced. What a great introduction to this new series.

I didn't like it. Especially didn't like the way story is told - childish thinking, repeating facts like reader can't remember them already the first time.

Harlow is young & on her own trying to make it as a ballet dancer. What she doesn't know is someone is watching her & will take her to be his when she turns eighteen. Until then he will just watch & do his best to be patient. Blush Pink Rose is a very short novella setting up the Rose & Thorn Series. It gives a glimpse into the characters that will be center of the trilogy to come. This novella is beautifully written & peeks enough interest that I can't wait to read what is coming next!

This was a short dark quick read that I liked. This was a prequel too a new series to me. Harlow a poor little ballerina with the ambitious dream of becoming a ballerina. Then there's the mysterious Thorn, who wants Harlow for himself, he's been watching her and is anxiously awaiting for the perfect moment to take her away. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is short prequel to Fawn Bailey's new dark series that will leave you wanting more. We're introduce to Harlow, a young and naive ballet dancer. She's so innocent, even though she's living in a world where danger lurks in the shadows. Thorn is an intriguing anti-hero. There's a dark side of him, almost sinister. I can't wait to know more about him.
Blushing Pink Rose is told in three point of views. Though, I wished the third didn't reveal so much, leaving some suspense. I'm interested this character's storyline and wonder how it's going to play into the overall story. This is an excellent start and I'm hook. It looks very promising and dark. Can't wait to read more.

💋 cant wait!!
I am so excited about these new books! Isabella Starling writing under a pen name and bringing to life an even darker- grittier world is amazing.
This prequel is centered around Harlow Granger (Rose) the dancer and Thorn the man that will eventually become the man that takes Rose. This gives you just a little inside of each of them and a couple of the secondary characters.
This prequel gives us a little glimpse of what's to come. And I can't wait💓💓

This is new. Isabella Starling, as you might know (or maybe not), is amongst one of my favourite authors. In 2017, she made it to my top 5 favourite authors and her books - mesmerizing. So when she decided to separate her books into new categories, i was curious. I mean, she created Isabella Darling for her sweet and adorable stories. And now, she's created a new alter ego - Fawn Bailey for all her dark novels while Isabella Starling are for her angsty and dark novels like Pet and Peep Show.
Needless to say, i jumped on Fawn Bailey like a couponer looking for the next best sale. It's dirty. It's mesmerizing. And it's insanely inappropriate, but at this point, i really can't bring myself to care.
Blushing Pink Rose is the prequel to Fawn Bailey's newest series. It's short - i read it in just under 30 minutes, so it gives you pretty good idea who Harlow is and how she's survived so many years after the death of her mother. Her life is dancing. It's become a core principle in her - encompassing her life, dreams and goals. It's everything. And then there's Thorn. We don't know much about him other than the fact that he's got his eye on Harlow and he's planning something with her.
The fact that this is a prequel makes all the suspense all that much more entrancing. It's not what you would expect from Isabella Starling - honestly, i don't think i've ever seen her write a prequel to any of her series, so this is was more than a little interesting. There was murder, suspense, darkness and hope all rolled into one. It'll be something to watch this author develop her series from this one taste of what she will develop, and my only hope is that through Fawn Bailey, Isabella Starling will unleash 'the dark side' (star wars pun not intended!! Lol)

It was okay for a prequel novella, I'm just not sure it managed to intrigue me enough to make me want to pick up the first book in the series. I'll give it some time, see if the need to pick it up appears or not.

This book took obsessive and possessive H's to a whole new level for me even when they hadn't even met yet.
I would say this had me intrigued for story (even though I'm DNF-ing this series after book 1). If you are planning to read the series, this prequel is a must.

"She loved broken things as I did."
As prequels go, I suppose this fits the billing. The author presents an acceptable effort in introducing us to the characters in this saga about to unfold in a series of books.
Here's what I liked. This author can write coherently and her characters are believable and vivid in the reader's mind. The premise of the story is darkly intriguing. She has unearthed some fertile psycho-sexual ground to plant her "roses".
What I missed was some heat, some sex, real passion blooming. There were only hints of the passions ahead dropped here and there scattered through the narrative. This "Prequel" would have done its job of luring us into this dark romance much more thoroughly with some down and dirty action.
Every reader loves to be drawn into a story, compelled to read on as their daily thoughts are haunted by the characters while away from the book. This is the effect of writing that makes th reader "feel".
This Prequel informs us on the situation occurring and about to occur in the character's life. It is informative. Without the compelling heat of passion, however misguided, I personally did not feel anything.
So I am not absolutely driven to begin the series. I'm not opposed to continuing...just not compelled.

dizi olsa
para israfı olurdu şu Fawn'in yaptığı yani -neyse şimdiden gömmiyim
adam psikopat çıktı
onun psikopatlıkları örter her şeyin üstünü diyorum ve seriye devam ediyorum ehehhe

Harlow Granger is an aspiring ballerina who lands a role that will get her noticed. Thorn is a man who can have any woman he wants, but he chooses Harlow. As time passes, the right moment finally nears changing the course of Harlow’s dreams.

In this prequel, we are introduced to Harlow and Thorn, along with their motivations and needs. As the plot begins to unfold, secondary characters add to the storyline and it becomes clear that all is not how it appears. I look forward to continuing the series.

This is just a short introduction to a new dark series. You just get an overview of the heroine's life before the psycho tears it apart. I was mainly attracted to it because of the ballet theme, mixed with a dark element.

An ARC of Blush Pink Rose by Fawn Bailey was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
Blush Pink Rose by Fawn Bailey is a prequel to the Rose and Thorn Series. It's a fast read that can be consumed in one sitting. Readers that enjoy the darker stuff should definitely add this one to their collection. The writing is hauntingly fascinating, keeping you engaged to the bitter end. The characters are interesting. The flow of the story was done perfectly by Ms. Bailey and showcased her awesome writing abilities. I'm impressed by this story's direction. I can't wait for more. I'm already hooked.
Harlow Granger, one of the main characters in Blush Pink Rose is inspiring ballet dancer. She's beautiful and sweet, innocent to a fault. She's dedicated and talented. All she hopes is to make her mark in the world of dance. She breathes, eats, and sleeps ballet.
However, Harlow is unaware that a monster lurks in the shadows. He's dangerous and dark, all kinds of deranged. The monster wants her. The monster's goal is to possess her in every way possible. Harlow doesn't get a say in the matter. She either comes willingly, or not, it makes no difference to the monster.
Thorn is the man who lurks in the shadows. He's dangerously handsome, capable of just about anything. He makes no excuse for the acts he commits. He wants Harlow, the innocent girl, and his rose. He plans to take her, make her his, because she's already his to take. He doesn't have a moral compass. The world and everything in it is at his mercy.

This book left me confused about my own reaction to it. Let me explain.
Harlow looks like a very determined girl. She got out of, what looked like, an abusive situation at home after her mom died. She's working to pay her bills. She's trying hard to become a ballet dancer. She does lie about her age but... I guess I can live with that.
The stalker, which is another character that apparently will be the "love" interest in the next book,
if you can call him that, was a surprise and a half. Not because he was there but because I felt so compelled, so drawn to his point of view that it scared me. It shouldn't have made me feel such strong feelings, it should have made me say he was crazy or something but that didn't happen.
The friend point of view at the end... I can't help to think she's going to be more of a villain than a friend, even though she didn't give me any reason at all to think of her that way.
In essence this prequel makes me want to read this series even more.

Just a glimpse into the blurb made me feel anxious and super curious. But not only the blurb, I mean, the tittle was super suggestive and full of suspense and hidden messages.
This prequel is an amazing start to a series that I know it will be a success because the day this story started.
The level of darkness, suspense are very present and that made me devour it in a sec, the fact that this was just a few pages long made read I g it super quick but it was an engaging reading.
Dreams, desires, achievements, love as well as crime, punishments, obsession are very present in here and that is the cherry on top of the cake.
Let me just say that what happened in here will become even more nite we as soon as I can get my claws on the rest of the series. I can only ask the author to write it quickly because the suspense is killing me slowly.
Oh Fawn Bailey you're a master in suspense and I can't wait for more...
Can't wait for the next book, Blood Red Rose to arrive because I need to know more.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

To say that I am intrigued is the understatement of the century! I need this story like my next breath!!
When I discovered that one of my favorite authors would now be writing under a new pen name AND bringing me darker stories..I was giddy and beyond excited!! I have always loved Isabella Starling's work and I was more than eager to read this introduction to something new! Let's just say..as always..she did not disappoint! I think I have a new love and her name is Fawn Bailey!
Blush Pink Rose is suspenseful, captivating and sinfully sexy! I am already in love with the main characters and I will be impatiently awaiting the rest of their story. A sweet girl that loves ballet with a fierce passion. A dominant man that has discovered her..obsesses over her and is now waiting for the right time to take her. YES PLEASE!
I will be stalking Fawn Bailey..greedily devouring every teaser she gives me and counting down the days until I can dig deep into this story!

This small taste of the Rose and Thorn series is a winner. It has whet my appetite to devour the next books in the series as soon as I can get my hands on them. We are introduced to Harlow Granger and her all-encompassing dream of becoming a ballerina. Her whole being is consumed by sacrifice and hard work to make her dream come true. Harlow's dance instructor as well as the other dancers at the studio become part of the short story as well. But underlining everything is the darkness in Thorn, who has become fixated on Harlow and is making plans to come between her and her dreams. He lies in wait, lurking and planning on making Harlow, his "little rose," his very own at a time of his choosing. As the clock ticks out the time before her abduction takes place, we can't help but continue to read the story and wait for the next book in the series to see what happens next!

This is a short prequel to the new series Rose and Thorn . Yes it is short but it gives us a good insight a bit to the character Harlow. And some of the other characters. In the story. I really enjoyed the storyline. This is a good start to the series.
I have already read book 1 in the series before this one.

Blush Pink Rose gives us a taste of Harlow's story, told in multiple points of view. Already there is a shadowed, haunting touch to the tale, where life is harsh but for Harlow's dancing, which is her lifeline, her dream. I am very intrigued by this prequel and look forward to reading the rest of the Rose and Thorn book.
