This is excellent book. Its about Gosavi Samaj and its beliefs,rules, way of life ,sacrifices, blind faith etc. Author himself used to collect trash along with his family, People from Gosavi community used to do same thing. Their belief was its the best way of life, they were opposing education to anyone from their community, women used to get ill treated by men, Jaat panchayat, blind faith etc. However, in this kind if society wherein source of earning is trash/garbage collection, where food can be arranged by begging for money or food (mostly stale food), where people doesnt even take a bath due to poverty (forget about bath,getting water to drink is a challenge) , now in this kind of environment Author Ashok Jadhav was determined boy, who fought with everyone, struggled hard and completed his B.ed. ,became teacher, and is working for upliftment of society .

This book is on the similar lines of the book Kolhatyacha por, Struggle and story is different. but I really liked this book, Initially while reading reader get engrossed into sorrow , then get inspired to work hard in life, what a struggle author had experienced in his life! this book gives us new kind of inspiration and power to work hard in achieving whatever our goals are. Even in a seminar ,Author Anant Samant also praised this book and recommended everyone to read this one.
