The 22 Rules of Investing

Rate this book
In a world where high-frequency firms dominate trade across multiple exchanges in microseconds, today's markets are faster than ever. The game has shifted-traders are no longer just competing against each other. Most competition takes place between computers, and it is the individual investors who often feel left in the dust. Technological progress, however, does not make perfection. In times when the rigidity of computer systems fail, dynamic human judgment can react. In modern markets, adaptation is the name of the game. As we move from "bricks-to-clicks," the new market conditions call for new rules. The New Rules of Investing will show you the tools that allow the individual investor to compete effectively against the machines-by controlling risk, taking advantage of market psychology, and minimizing errors in order to compete on a level playing field.

Although the title of this book suggest it is about all kinds of investing, it is about investing in the options market. It goes into the basics about investing in options. It covers some standard option strategies, but it also describes some unique strategies that the authors use.
