This is the story of the journey of a young man who sought the heart of God daily. He wanted so much to be accepted by the Lord. The journey was long and hard. At the end of his life, he had found the heart of God and was ready to go home. I know because I was married to that man. I traveled to California when I was eighteen-years-old to receive missionary training. What I found when I arrived here was a handsome young man that wanted to date me. He was John Hargrove, a brilliant student of the Bible that memorized whole books of the Bible. We saw each other daily, and fell in love. Two and a half months later, we married and stayed together fifty-eight years until he passed away. The best thing he gave me were five wonderful children. This is his story.

I wrote this book to tell of my relationship with John Hargrove for 58 years. He was a great man. His story needs to be told.
