Testing is a tool. It is not a sack of money button. It is not a method for shortcutting your way to outsize reward.

I can always count on Nick Disabato to teach me things I didn’t know I needed to know about design and business. My commonplace doc of quotes & passages for The A/B Testing Manual ended up a little over 4,000 words… When I read some design & biz books, I’m lucky if I can find more than a handful of phrases I find worth underlining.

If you work on high-traffic web properties, this manual covers exactly what you need to do and why you need to do it to optimize your revenue. Among his T-shaped expertise in research and optimization, the author defers to other books, articles, and studies if you want to dive deeper into a topic he briefly explains. As soon as you’re done with each chapter, you’ll want to overhaul your Google Analytics goals, bugfix, and take the full course this book is part of.
