I have read some previous books by this author and enjoyed her writing style. Christian suspense without being "preachy" or cheesy. This is a very short prequel to the Unit 28 series. I started with book two, as the author offered to let me read a copy in exchange for an honest review. I felt a bit lost so she sent over book one, same deal. I saw "Orb Web" for .99 cents so picked it up to begin the whole experience. I loved it. Five stars and on to the series.
This is a prequel story and I have read the other stories in this series. A great Christian suspense thriller, action-packed, with characters you can invest in.
This gives a better idea of how the series all began with Alex Thornton. I enjoyed and definitely recommend. Read the others in series before I read this one. Highly recommend.
I volunteered to read an ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion
