Jennifer has a penchant for fitness, which includes weightlifting, running, a good hike, and warm summer days spent kayaking. She and her husband also make occasional forays into national parks for camping where each trip turns into an adventure. They live with their two Basenji dogs outside of Raleigh, North Carolina.

I have read some previous books by this author and enjoyed her writing style. Christian suspense without being "preachy" or cheesy. This is a very short prequel to the Unit 28 series. I started with book two, as the author offered to let me read a copy in exchange for an honest review. I felt a bit lost so she sent over book one, same deal. I saw "Orb Web" for .99 cents so picked it up to begin the whole experience. I loved it. Five stars and on to the series.

This is a prequel story and I have read the other stories in this series. A great Christian suspense thriller, action-packed, with characters you can invest in.
This gives a better idea of how the series all began with Alex Thornton. I enjoyed and definitely recommend. Read the others in series before I read this one.
