Fudging the answer

Another good read and with less proofing errors. The characters have developed well and we are certainly seeing what makes the twins tick.
An invitation to provide sweet relief at a college event has her making her new special fudge in bulk. The event seems to be well run and having met some of the lecturers and students before makes for a pleasant atmosphere. All except one professor who seems to pick arguments with all he comes into contact with. However that turns into a nightmare when he suddenly collapses and dies before medics can reach him. According to her deputy he seems to have been injected with something that led to his death. Although Bonnie wants her to investigate, she wants to keep out of it but events contrive against her. Then she finds an ex-wife with a grudge, a betting ring and an attempt to keep all this under wraps. Whilst she is dealing with the one of her young employees decides to party a bit harder than he should and her deputy thinks they are dating. Will the culprit be apprehended? Or will they get away with murder?

I liked it but the plot could have been more intriguing. There was the potential to have a twisted suspect but the author took the straight way out.

A college professor unlike by all was killed in a symposium and Molly had the first catering job. While selling fudge, she went investigating too.

A straightforward murder mystery where the clues were laid out. A good read.

A great follow up

A great quick read that is a good follow up to the first in the series. It’s also great as a stand alone as you don’t technically have to read the first to follow this one. But I would recommend going in order just for the enjoyment of it.

Messier than Book One

This was a much less clear and thoughtful story than the previous book, owing probably to the transient nature of the group involved.some background greenery growth for the characters, but overall kind of flat.

Love this series

This is an enjoyable series. My only issue with this book is the use of the Marine. It is always capitalized. However, I appreciate the author making one of the characters a female Marine.

Signed, A female Marine

Mystery solved by Molly and crew at a symposium

This gets a little more into the back stories while they figure out who killed a professor at an event for which Molly provided fudge.
I like all the main characters.

Quick Read

I like the cover of this book that's what made me choose it. I enjoyed the book but it was too short of a read. Looking forward to finding out what happens between Molly and officer Loan.

Enjoyed.

The two books were a delight. The main character and her pet were different. A bird. Most of the cozy books usually has cats or dogs or both.

Her first book I read was good. I had the same expectations for the second; however, after five tries I had to give up on this one.

Fast Comfortable read. Maybe something for your lunch time.

A cozy mystery with no Gore. Fairly easy to figure out but worth reading for the short time it takes.

My new favorite cozy series

While I enjoy Molly and Jeffery, my favorite characters are Bonnie and Braxton. They are awesome and hopefully get their own spin-off series.

Molly has a knack for figuring things out. The only thing is it’s another bully creating the problems. It was a fun read but I’d like to see the protagonist be some other type of person.

Enjoyable, quick cozy mystery

Molly and her parakeet, Whammy, made a name for themselves in the first book in this series. The two of them seem to work well together with local Police Officer Jeffrey when investigating crimes they had no intenion of being involved in. Yet, somehow, Molly seems to be in the area when the town's two most recent murders happened. In this story, the second of the series, it's a dislike college professor who is the victim while at a symposium that Molly has been invited to. Setting up a vendor booth where she displays her newly created peanut butter fudge places her in the right place at the wrong time once again.
Another entertaining, interesting cozy mystery from a talented author. Character relationships & interactions are further developed in this story. It's every bit as good as the first in the series, and am looking forward to reading the next one!!
