Excellent book, especially for those just starting their vegan way of life. She covers all the basics and even gives some grocery lists of what to stock up on and some other helpful tips. She also has some unique recipes I hadn't seen before, especially the marinades.
Great recipes for vegans. I especially found the recipes for sauces and dips useful and varied. And I really liked the vegan substitutions for eggs, dairy, and meats. These recipes are inspirational and gateway to vegan experimental cooking.
this is a good plant-based book for beginners, especially if one is Southern! The recipes are amazing. I can’t wait to try those recipes because they bring back a lot of memories.
This book is amazing, everything I’ve cooked from it has been delicious. I love how she addresses social justice issues and health disparities in a warm and encouraging way.
Very good breakdown of how to start a Vegan journey. I like the writing because she is down to earth. My only con is I wish there were more pictures in the book.
