Xavier is a firefighter with a penchant for adrenalin. Most people remember him as a wild child or bad boy, but despite these views, he has a heart of gold. He might like to have fun, but he’s always been a good person. Xavier grew up with his stepfather, Rick, and got even closer to him when his biological parents passed away. But it wasn’t just Rick that he was close to. He’s always had a particular fondness for his stepsister, Holly. She moved away after school, and they lost touch, so he was excited to hear that she was returning home after all this time. He knew that it would be good to see her again, but he didn’t realize just how good it was going to be. Is it wrong to feel this way about her? And does she feel it too?
Xavier and Holly are two totall different types of people. They grew up together when they were smaller due to their parents marrying and Xavier always had a soft spot for Holly. They had a great relationship and then life happened and they grew apart. Xavier is a firefighter with a heart of gold and a bad boy reputation. Holly is a sweet girl but is working for a company where people are so unbelievably mean to her until one day she decides she's had enough and quits to come home. When these two see each other again, the chemistry is hot and they want to pursue something but her dad who is a pastor is against it. Even though they are no longer technically related due to Xavier's mom passing away, he feels it's too taboo for them to continue a relationship. What will happen if these two decide to go against his wishes? This was a good read, the only thing I didn't really like was her dad's prospective on this whole relationship. He's a pastor, they are grown ups and not related so I felt that the way he was portrayed turned me off a bit. Other than that, I thought the book was enjoyable.
Wow! I can state is this one of my favorite Step Siblings romance. This is a story of Xavier a firefighter who is soft hearted hidden inside his hard body, who loved and kept in touch with his stepfather and stepsister even after his mother's death and his own brothers stopping contact with them. He always liked and protected his stepsister Holly when they were kids, but lost her contact when she left for her studies and is excited to meet her again when she returns to move in with her father. When they reconcile, they find their feeling are more than sibling, but they had to go through alot when the one person who connecting them is against their relationship This book is well authored and loved both Xavier and Holly, both are strong individuals and their bond is strong and lovable. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of the book.
Dirty Stepbrother is the taboo-ish love story between Xavier and his former stepsister, Holly. It’s tough to review without giving away all the details. Xavier is the strong but silent type. He is all alpha but not cocky or arrogant. Holly’s character is timid and sometimes immature. But somehow, the two click and are really just perfect for each other. Rick was a bit much, yet unfortunately very realistic in the sense that he is a good example of a lot of small minded people who THINK they know everything. It’s a sweet love story with touches of angst, sexy and drama. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.
Not dirty as the titel says but a lovely romance between former stepsiblings. Emotional and loving story.
Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop.A passionate and emotional read with twists.
It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. There is passion, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Who doesn’t love a fire fighter that also happens to be a Hot Shot? Instant turn on! Alycia Taylor really gets the juices flowing with Dirty Stepbrother. Oh Momma...this one is scorching hot! Great storyline; awesome characters; roller coaster emotions; and the HEA...TOTALLY hot. 🔥🔥 You’re definitely going to want this one for your personal library! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and loved it!) ❤️❤️
I enjoyed reading this book though the title is a little misleading. Xavier really isn't her step-brother any longer when this story takes place. Dirty? There wasn't really anything dirty about it. It was a sweet love story. The plot was good and so where the characters. There was a little too much detail in certain parts of the book. I hope that we'll get to read about Xavier's brothers and I'd love to read Kenny's story as well.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book...
Love all of these stories from Alycia Taylor. Xavier is a firefighter and grew up with his stepfather after his parents are killed. He's also close to his stepsister, Holly. He hasn't seen her since she went off to college and now that she's back, he wants her for himself. She feels the same way, but what will her dad say? This is the first book I've read by this author and I thought it was good. Xavier and Holly had great chemistry. I liked both main characters and thought the story was well written. I'll be looking to read more by this author. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
Dirty Stepbrother by Alycia Taylor is another great book in the Maxwell Family series. Xavier is excited that his stepsister Holly is moving back home after being away from home for years. What the hot firefighter didn't expect was to have a fire ignite in him for his sexy step sister when he sees her again. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
I haven’t read a story from this Author before and was delightfully surprised by all the back info that made strong story characters and brought all their life experiences together and they grew from this events and became super great people with a Hot love life 😍 very much recommend
I received this ARC for an honest & refreshing review
Hmm..not sure how I feel about this book. Stepbrother and firefighter romances are some of my favorites and I did like this book, but I felt like it was a little slow at times and rushed at times. I loved the characters and the premise of the book but something felt off with this one. I've enjoyed Alicia's work but this book was not my favorite. It's still good if you are a fan.
This is a very good stepbrother romance. The storyline is well-written with drama and romance overcoming obstacles to find the HEA. The H/h are very good but this would be a solid 5* if the H had more depth. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
This book was a bit of a disappointment. With a title like this i was expecting more dirty in it, more sex, more crudeness.... instead it was a beautiful love story with a girl and a guy who isn't really her stepbrother.
This book was good and the characters were okay but I really had a hard time getting into the book. I voluntarily received this book to review for my honest opinion.
Dirty Stepbrother by Alycia Taylor A fun & entertaining read. "I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review."

A wonderful book about xavier and holly who grew up as step brother and sister but arent blood related.
Holly had a job she didnt like as none talked to her and they made her do her work and everyone elses. She quits her job and moves back home to live with her dad.
Xavier and holly fall in love and end up having a relationship and feel its wrong at first but then realise they are blood.
Its a story about falling in love and realizing its the right thing . Im glad her dad accepted their relationship.
