Foolish: Loyal to a fault
Meet Ava, Aubrey and Kai Rose; three sisters born and raised in Philly. They were raised by both of their parents, who showed their girls the epitome of what love, marriage and family is supposed to look like. Now that these girls are grown women living their own lives, their parents’ love story seems like a fairytale. The reality of their situations are showing them that when it comes to love, there is a thin line between being loyal and being foolish.
Ava Rose, who is the youngest of the Rose sisters, has recently graduated from college and is in a relationship with her boyfriend, Jaxson, who she shares two handsome twin boys with. In the beginning of their relationship, the dream relationship that her parents shared was a reality for her. They didn’t even let the fact that Jaxson’s babymama couldn’t seem to let go of the idea that he was supposed to be with her, dent the light of their happiness. As time went on, Jaxson’s life took a detour, leading him straight to bum-ass-niggaville. After losing his job, Jaxson turns into someone that Ava no longer recognizes and is struggling to continue to love. As she carries all the weight by herself, she starts to question if she’s being a loyal girlfriend or just foolish for standing by him. Will Ava continue to be loyal or will Jaxson push her into the arms of another man?
Aubrey Rose, also known as the wild one and the protector of her sisters, lives with her heart under lock and key, shielded by a barbwire fence; thanks to her past experiences that disqualified her from her fairytale story. Thinking she’d found the love of her life, that same love left her with nothing but a broken heart. Aubrey is now living life, leaving the past behind her, while raising her full of personality daughter, Kylie. While feeling she’s done with both love and loyalty, her past will come back, ready to invade her new life.
Kai Rose is living her fairytale. She is a survivor of cancer and married to her childhood sweetheart, Mikey. To the people on the outside looking in, the couple has the perfect marriage, overcoming any trials and tribulations thrown their way. There is only one problem; there is no such thing as a perfect marriage. The saying is, show me a perfect relationship, and I will show you that someone has secrets. There are indeed secrets being kept in this so-called perfect union. Secrets that will threaten to destroy the foundation that Kai and Mikey’s lives stand on.

A well written story that has a steady flow. Well developed, likeable characters that are dealing with a lit of issues. From the crazy baby mamas to infidelity. Can't wait for part two.

Amber was a complete nutcase. I know she might had been hurt, but Raswhawn told her on numerous occasions that he didn't want her. You can't make a man love you. Yes, she was the one that held him down, but she was foolish when she did that after Rashawn told her that once he was released, he would be with Aubrey. Things wouldn't have gone that way, if she stayed on her medication. Amber had now placed herself into a situation that she can't recover from, and she took away her biggest supporter, Ariel. Aubrey wasn't the least bit worried about Amber, but she wasn't aware of Amber's mental disorder.
Jaxson was as silly as they came. Ava was a good woman, mother, and she had a heart of gold. Jaxson did the ultimate betrayal when he became a deadbeat father, due to his other baby's mother, Sharell, and his mother, who was as messy as they came. Ava was everything that Sharell wasn't, and that made Sharell become the baby mother from hell. Ava didn't have any real beef with Ava, besides the fact that they both had a baby by the same man. I had a feeling that Ian might just be the person that Sharell needed in her life. Ava finally was tired of the back and forth drama with Jaxson, and moved on with Nasir. The problem was, she tried to help Jaxson get back on his feet, and Jaxson may have taken advantage of Ava's good heart, and ruined what Ava and Nasir had.
Mikey was Kai's everything at one point, but Kai couldn't give him the one thing that Mikey wanted, which was to be a father. On numerous accounts, Kai became pregnant, but she always miscarried. A baby shower changed everything that Kai knew, which shattered her heart in a million pieces. A one night stand changed Mikey and Kai's life as they knew it. Kai needed space, in which it made her really close to Quadir. So close, that now she may be pregnant by him, so she may be in the same situation as her husband placed her in. Quadir wanted Kai to make a choice, because he was tired of Kai's indecisiveness.....I wonder if she made the right choice. Aubrey, Ava, and Kai are really good women, but they didn't always think about the men that they loved, were the ones that brought them down. Sometimes, it's best to leave the past, and start a new future.

This was sooo good!!
First of Kai and Ava are dumb as hell. I have a kind heart too but not for a bum like Jaxson. And Kai is dumb for trying to makenit work with Mikey when he had her looking stupid to everyone. Now that Amber chick is crazy as hell. That ending was crazy. And another thing Mikey is wrong as hell for wishing ill on Kai after all she has been through. I can't wait to read part 2

You sure know what you doing with a pen because these characters will have you on the edge of your seat. There are some grammatical errors but you can look past them. I still don't trust Kari Jaxson trinity amber delusional crazy behind. I mean it's so much going on and you can't stop reading it

Amber is crazy. Rashawn should of been said something to Aubrey. I hope Kai is fine? She really needs to let Mikey go cause he's not going to feel the same way about her child. Ava and Nasir is being childish. Quadir is Bae but he also needs to grow up. Jaxson needs to be gone he is such a loser and user

A Great Read
From beginning to end this book was full of drama from Baby Mama drama, Infidelity, Bipolar and crazy Ex's . Can't wait for the next installment of this series . This is a must read you will not be disappointed.

Loved It
I enjoyed this story so much. The craziness was just enough. Loved the sister bonds and guys bond to. As usual women that cannot move on doing the most. Disappointing husband and lying baby daddy. Just enough chaos. On to part 2. 👍🏾👍🏾

Foolish
This was first book by this author and I was disappointed at all. This book held my attention from the very first page. I loved the series and the bond they have with each other. The ending was crazy and I'm starting part 2 right now.

What can I say? I am really digging this author. This book was like watching a movie. I sooooo love it. This is a must read. Also love that theres more drama to come. On to part 2 right now.
