Dagger of Doom is a fun, fast paced addition to the Knights of the Silver Dragon series. From having read the other books in this series, I was a little confused by the weird behavior of Kellach throughout the story until the end. He just wasn't being very nice to Driskoll and I didn't know why.

Then there is Driskoll. He has been wanting to be like his dad, a master of the sword. So, why in this story is he suddenly wanting to be a bard? Where did this come from? That part confused me.

Other than those two things, I quite enjoyed the story and was glad to see a harpy brought in, as I have always liked those dirty, stinky, greedy birdwomen. Moyra doesn't play a very big part in this story while the story mostly focuses on Driskoll. There are a lot of little twists in this story that make it a lot of fun to read.

Overall, Dagger of Doom by Kerry Daniel Roberts is another great addition to the Knights of the Silver Dragon series. I look forward to seeing what happens in The Hidden Dragon by Lisa Trumbauer.

I rated this book an 8 out of 10.

I read this when I was a lot younger. I got so addicted to the series, I ended up asking for everything upto book 6 (from there it had stopped...maybe there was no 7 yet, but my brother said there was no more, it got discontinued, so I never followed up)

I don't think I can start reading this again... Looking back, it just isn't my type anymore, but as a children's fantasy, Knights Of The Silver Dragon definitely was the best.

In my story, I named my character Driscoll after Driskol here (though they're nothing alike, really!) HAha! But it just goes to show how much I loved this book.

This was one of the two of my favourite books out of the series when I was a kid. I really loved the story line and how it twisted and was mysterious when I was a naive little child. Anyway it was a favourite! <3
