Big league pitcher Killian Moss wants a family. What he needs is a steadfast woman who can handle long separations during the season. The kind of woman who will always be there for him and their children. Movie actress Lorna Richards is an independent, publicity-shy, single mom who hides in Texas whenever she’s not on a shoot. Home and family is everything to Lorna and when she meets Killian, it seems that they want all the same things. The passion between them flares bright and hot, but when Lorna decides to pay back a favor for a man who saved her career – a life-altering favor – then Killian may have to cry foul and back away. Everything between them hangs in the balance as Lorna must choose between giving a new life to her best friend or losing her dream of love and a happy ending with Killian.

I was so excited to hear that Lorna, previously a secondary character in one of Michele Shriver's books, was getting her own story. I'm a celebrity character nut, and she seemed to have a story to tell.

I was right! She sure did.

Actress Lorna Richards catches the eye (And a few other things) of baseball star Killian Moss. It's intrigue at first sight. The two form a friendship which quickly escalates to so much more.

I love that while she's an actress and in the spotlight a lot, Lorna isn't one of those stuck up celebrities. she has her own realistic struggles that happen to people in live, whether we want them to be there or not.

I also adore Killian. He accepts Lorna and her daughter into his life, but he has his own issues, which come up later on, when a big shift in the story changes things for them. Or does it?

I loved watching these two fall in love and work things out. And, I loved the cameos of Reese and Court.

Looking forward to more from this series! Great read once again, Michele!

Killian and Lorna were amazing in this book. I loved the baseball theme. It was also really nice visiting with older characters and keeping up with their lives. Michele has a way of tying things in flawlessly creating beautiful fun stories. I also loved all the twists and turns that added suspense and romance to the book I can't wait for the next installment.
