>Before Emily and Sebastian can celebrate their new relationship, they’re recruited to star in a local reality competition... Where Sebastian’s hungry ex, Greta, plans to steal the show.

Oh my god!!! This book was so bloody funny. I died. I was rolling on the floor laughing so hard people stared.
In this second Emily and Sebastion have not even had one night alone in their new relationship yet. Around every corner there is always an obsticle standing in their way. This time it is in the form of Bash's brother's wife. She enlists their help to fill in on her tv show.
Everything is looking ok till Greta and Joe show up as last-minute contestants. Now not only are Emily and Bash trying to win the tv show and focus on their new relationship, they have to deal with Greta. Again! When will she give up?
I have to tell you, I think I loved this book ten times more than the first. It was so funny. I mean, poor Bash. He is a magnet of trouble. It is like he is a light house beckoning the trouble to come and find him.
I cannot tell you how much fun it was to read this book. I could not stop laughing. I really couldn't. I think Amy outdid herself with this book. The comedy and romance were wonderful and it proved to be a great read. The characters are not only fun but enjoyable. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs a good laugh out loud read to bring up their spirits.
>Book Review – Slightly Sweaty >I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Slightly series and ends in an HEA. Sebastian/Emily, Kady/Marc, Joe/Greta are all roped in to participating in a reality couples tv show. Marc, being Marc, is super funny and endearing, especially when he falls in love. Recreating Greta as a cheater is the perfect opportunity to see her nastiness in action. The Challenges of the show really showcase some funny scenes and hysterical banter that will make the reader laugh out loud. >The behind the scenes views into a rigged reality show was interesting. Trying to hide with a cameraman following is funny. The way Sebastian and Emily are kept from each other by all sorts of circumstances is both funny and frustrating. >This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the book 5 stars. I had a blast reading this story. It was an enjoyable escape.
This book was hilarious from almost the first word! I hadn't read the first book, so I don't know for sure how necessary it is, but there were a lot of references to past events. I truly enjoyed this book even without the first one.
Sabastian and Emily are the cutest, wittiest couple on the planet and are PERFECT for each other. They had me laughing out loud almost constantly. The other characters were just as funny and enjoyable. Ms. Vasant has a gift for making her characters relatable, believable and hilarious.
If you're looking for hot, steamy and graphic sex scenes, this is not the book. If you're looking for a fun adventure with some great characters, a lot of laughs and sweet romance, this definitely is the book.
Another superb read from Amy Vansant. This romantic comedy is partly set in the wilderness, where the protagonists and their friends get to take part in a couples' reality show, getting up to all sorts of trouble and mischief. Utterly hilarious, and a real page-turner. This is one of Vansant's best. Once again she's proven that her humor is fresh, clever, and simply inexhaustible. If you're looking for something to cheer you up and make you laugh, look no further...
Reading the first book in the series (Slightly Stalky, which is equally entertaining), is not a prerequisite, but it will deepen your understanding of the characters if you read it first. (I received a free copy of Slightly Sweaty and chose voluntarily to review it)
I waited for this follow up for a very long time, and I was all in as soon as I got the author update from Amazon that it had been published. It was definitely not a disappointment - I was literally cracking up laughing at several parts. Amy has a knack for describing situations in hilarious ways. Great adult rom-com. I would have rated it five stars, but there were several obvious editing issues (like ending a chapter with a sentence that doesn’t even have a period). As an English teacher, I just can’t look past that kind of thing. Maybe I should start an editing business on the side.
This books are hilarious. In Slighty Sweaty our dear Emeliy and Sebastian get recruited into a reality show along other couples and we get to experience everything that goes on with the crazy challenges they suffer thru. Bunch of new, crazy and funny characters.
That Marc dude is hilarious and I'm happy he got his girl. Greta got what she deserved as well. And I loved the end for Emily and Bastian. I only wished we could've enjoy their relationship a little more aside from always being around the whole gang.
Another hilarious adventure with Emily and Sebastian. Before they can get settled together Sebastian's brother and sister-in-law recruit them to be on a couples reality TV show. Along with Emily's best friend and friend from work, they expect to have fun and maybe win some serious cash. But when Sebastian's vindictive ex Greta is also included it's all up for grabs. Will Emily and Sebastian ever get together without goats, chiggers, or eggs? Terrific characters with a crazy and fast moving plot. Be prepared to laugh! A lot!!
A lighthearted romantic comedy that makes you laugh out loud. Characters with big personalities and an inventive storyline makes for a fun read.
Emily and Sebastian are finally together, well they occupy the same space. To help out Sebastion’s brother they agree to be on a reality contest show. Only problem is Sebastions ex, Greta and Emily’s bffs ex, Joe are on the same show.
I received an arc of this book and voluntarily provided a review.
Sebastian and Emily try to get together, and are thwarted repeatedly.
This time, Seb's hapless brother and his sister in law indirectly help the evil Greta to interfere.
Can they really make it thru a real date? Heaven forbid, manage an intimate moment without falling, getting chiggers, cameramen or other weirdness intervening?
Far as I can tell, they're still trying in the end.
I giggled and even snorted reading this book. The concept allowed for multiple encounters of the humorous variety. Nice read for relaxing and for annoying your husband as you giggled your way through. Amy writes in multiple genres. They are all worth your time. The title and cover look titillating but the book itself is a mild romantic comedy.
Hilarious, laugh-out-loud funny. This book had me in stitches from start to finish. A fantastically well-written romantic comedy that follows on beautifully from the first one in the series, but would stand alone quite well too. Great characters, ridiculous circumstances, excellent plot. A must-read.
I was blessed with a free copy of this book, and I have chosen of my own volition to share my review with you!
This quirky sequel (book 2 of the Slightly Series) has the main characters Sebastian and Emily competing in a couples challenge for the local television network. This book kept me smiling!
Great book. I highly recommend this book if you need a good laugh. The story was really catchy, totally realistic. I honestly want to know what happens next. This is a must read for anyone who has ever been cheated on. If only all trash could get theirs in the end like Gretta did.
Reality Games and Dating This is the fun second episode in a series. This very funny romantic comedy has several couples playing a reality show game to win cash. But all is not what it seems. It is best to read book one of the series first as this episode takes off where the first episode ended. Very funny and worth reading.
This book was just as good as the first. Love the continuation right from where the 1st book left off. Great characters. They were so much fun. I wouldn't mind a 3rd 😉 However, I would hope that Emily and Sebastian have FINALLY had their time together. 🤣🤣🤣
This book was everything I had hoped for, and Amy Vansant didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the first one, but this one had me literally laughing out loud multiple times throughout the book. This is not the kind of "Romance" books I'm used to where there are a lot of graphic scenes and mature content. This is more on the very funny, cute, very entertaining side. 100% recommended!
I absolutely loved this book, I didn’t want to put it down! It is a well written romance that is laugh out loud funny. It's a story that hooks you in right from the beginning and doesn't let you go. It has great characters that are entertaining and interesting. I recommend reading to everyone.
Oh ¡so funny! This lady writes good stories. Her characters are super and you will not be able to put the book down once you start. I spent a few hours thoroughly enjoying myself and I can't recommend this author any harder.
To help Nicole out , who is a Producer, Emily and Sebastian go on a reality show. Nicole is Sebastian 's sister-in-law . Unknown to them Greta is also on the show . Sebastians ex. Drama, romance, comedy , adventure. Never a dull moment.
Now that Emily and Sebastian are a couple they are asked to be on a reality show by his brother Garrett. When they arrive they are shocked to find Greta there as Well. Can these two be able to stay together? Or does Greta have other plans? Great read
What a funny series. This book was filled with the kind of humor I love. No one takes themselves too seriously. Silly word jokes. Thank you Amy Vansant for writing a book for me. I can’t wait for the next Pineapple Port or Kilty book. Even the new series.
This book had a fun story line with laugh out loud moments. It kept me engaged as I read through to the end. I enjoyed the different characters and hated the bad girl. When she got her come-up-ence it was completely satisfying!
4 stars I purchased Slightly Sweaty by Amy Vasant and yhi review was given freely. Humor and irony abound as the six principle people from Slightly Stalky come together in a reality show directed by Sebastian's sister in law who is also the employee of Greta's Aunt. Sabotaging the saboteur and anything for TV ratings are just two of the themes that run through this full length romance novel with multiple happy endings..
