4.5 Stars. I came across this book after DNF'ing a LOOOOOOOT of contemporaries of the past couple days. I'm really not one for second chance romance stories, but the Biological Clock= Ticking Time Bomb trope gets me every time because I can relate so infertility difficulties.
I really enjoyed this story, there weren't any glaring ridiculous bastardizations of the English language or sentences that irked the hell out of my inner Grammar Nazi. Some things that bugged me a bit: The Brother. He needed a good, swift kick in the ass. One punch wasn't enough! He stepped in where he shouldn't have, and then immediately gets his own happily ever after while the MCs are still suffering and dancing around each other. NO FAIR DAMN IT!
There was one instance with the editing, where the female MC had a big secret reveal with her best friend....and then a chapter or so later had the same big reveal, just written differently. I had to flip backwards a couple times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
Other than that, a fun and quick contemporary read.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Lara and Mason. Lara wants the baby she so far hasn't been able to have. Now that she no longer has the lying cheat of an ex-husband she can have what she really wants a baby. So she goes to a clinic to have it all done. This way she gets the baby and no man to get in her way or try and break her heart. Little did she know she would run into the one man who could give her what she wants and what she doesn't. Mason doesn't know what to think when he find Lara in his clinic. Mason knows that seeing Lara again will open up all the old feels he has for her but he is supposed to be her doctor. They both wonder could there be another reason they are finding each other again or will this just be a case of weird coincidence?
This is an amazing book that will have you believing in a way to have it all. There are some ups and downs that will have you emotionally hooked on this book. There is so much I want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I will say I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

So yes this is a second chance story. I really don't like getting into them, but I do like baby stories and Tia's books so I thought I would give it a try. And I am really happy that I did. Tia did a wonderful job with this book.
Lara is just divorced and wants to have a baby desperately. When she finally finds the clinic that she trusts she is horrible surprised that the doctor she has is her brothers old best friend and the man she lost her virginity to.
Mason hasn't seen Lara in years. Not after her brother warned him away from her and he left for college. He thought he did what was best for her and hasn't had any contact with her. So he doesn't know any of the problems she has had with infertility and her marriage.
This is a great story between Mason and Lara. Lara is afraid of getting into a relationship again, and Mason is a great guy in this book. Loved it. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Lara is recently divorced and wants the one thing she lacked in her marriage a baby. This leads her to a fertility clinic and right into someone from her past Mason. Mason owns and works at the clinic and is shocked when he sees Lara waiting to be seen. They both can't quite believe that after all these years they run into each other at a fertility clinic. Another chance meeting has them seeing each other outside the clinic which leads them to start seeing each other. Mason still has feelings for Lara but he isn't sure what to do about them. Everything seems to be going alright for them until Lara's brother finds out about them. Can Mason and Lara get past the obstacles they face to have a relationship? Will Lara use a donor or trust Mason instead and have a child with him?

I probably would have rated this book higher if Lara wasn't so annoying and if the ending wasn't so abrupt. it was extremely sudden. Lara was so crazy and indecisive. I almost stopped reading after the phone sex with Sally part. That had no business being in there. This was a romance. No sexual stuff shoukd have happened between a main character and someone who isn't the other main character. Gross.

I have only read a couple if Tia Sirens books,,,, but I enjoy them more each time I read another,,,,
This is a story about Lara McCall whom just got a divorce from her ass of a husband, Michel Brown, after she FINALLY caught him with one of his young interns from his investment company, in their own bed,,,, Lara owns her own boutique for baby things,,, she has organic baby clothes and such things, and her best friend Kali is also her assistant manager,,,, and now the divorce is over, she is now on her way to her appointment with the fertility clinic to see about being impregnated thru the clinic with a sperm donor,,,, she doesn't even care which,,, she just wants a baby, very badly,,,,,,
Dr. Mason Chambers own the fertility clinic in the Mission Bay area in San Francisco and he and his staff, including his RN Junie have a great business going and today he is going to see Lara McCall,,,, but surely, that can't be the same Lara he knew growing up,,,, his first time had been with a Lara McCall, and it was her first time too, before he went away to college, she was going to wait for him and him for her, or so she thought,,,,but turns out he didn't ever come back for her, because of his best friend, then, was her brother Brian, who threatened Mason if he ever went near his sister again, but, he had never told Lara this,,, he hopes this isn't her,,, he walks in the exam room/lounge area and sure enough, they both recognize each other,,, Mason says she can get another of the doctors if she wants, but, she fine with having him,,, and as they tell each other about themselves, she tell him of the divorce and the miscarriage, and he has never found that special girl, although he really had,,, back when they were in love in high school,,, he's never gotten her outta his mind,,,,, and now he sees her again, and she's back in his thoughts again now,,,
Ok,,,, I've given you some names,,, and a tad both of an outline of people,,, but folks,,, my review does not do this story justice,,, you really need to go in and one click this, or however you get your books,,, this is so totally worth it,,,there is such a story line going in this book,,, some arguments, some misunderstandings, some wild, steamy sections,,,, and a very nice HEA,,,!!!

I'm Having My Brother's Best Friend's Baby
When I see that Tia Siren has got a brand new book coming out, I just know that I have to get a copy! I 'discovered' her stories at the beginning of 2017 and have caught up with reading all her stories that have been published as ebooks in the UK since and I have honestly loved each and every one of them. her style of writing which has the words flowing so smoothly across the page. She creates such interesting storylines and fantastic characters that I usually come to love. It is her attention to detail with her character development that makes them seem to 'come to life' and seem so real. In this book our two main protagonists are Lara and Mason. they were childhood sweethearts till her brother, mason's so called best friend, warned him off his sister and told him to leave her alone. So Mason did that without telling her why and she was heartbroken. Years later she is now divorced and desperately wanting a baby having just had a miscarriage. So with no man in her life she decides to have a baby on her own and goes to an IVF Clinic for treatment. Imagine her surprise when the doctor to treat her is Mason! neither has really got over each other and when learning that she wants a baby he sees this as a second chance for them and to have the family they should have had years ago. So beautifully written with the chemistry sizzling and sparkling whenever mason and Lara are in the same room together. I loved Mason as he never got over Lara and his determination to overcome her insecurities and lack of trust in him make him a worthy 'hero' for her. Will Lara forgive him? Will she forgive her brother? What will Mason have to do to win the heart of his childhood sweetheart? I can't wait for Tia's next story!

A really good read from the start to the finish. Full of emotional feelings right from the first page. A wonderfully written book and a great storyline. Lara and Mason were together years ago when she was 16 and he 18. Both had their firsts with each other but Mason left and totally broke her heart. Fast forward a number of year (20) and Lara is just finishing her divorce from her ex who she found cheating on her in a big way, with another woman in their bed then tries to make excuses for it. Having had a miscarriage, she wants her baby as her biological clock is clanging in her head and she finds a way to make that happen.
She meets Mason who will be her doc but she doesn't realise that he owns the clinic. When they meet all of the old feelings come back for her in the way of betrayal, anger, insecurities and stubbornness. They start a sort of friends with benefits relationship but neither one will acknowledge that they have feelings for each other. Cue her brother stepping in and threatening Mason......again to stay away from his sister. Will Mason tell Lara the truth about why he left all those years ago? Will she admit her feelings or is it all over before it really starts? Her sort of relationship puts her on a collision course with her ex but will she still come out on top?
A great written story from start to finish that had me tearing up, I am a sap sometimes, when Lara's emotions get the better of her or when it look like she was set out to destroy a relationship before it had started. What I like most about the characters in the different books is that the age is older than what you typically read in today's stories. I think that this makes a difference in how the characters come across in the stories. I loved reading Mason and Lara's story. The storyline is more believable. Lara is on a mission to become pregnant with the help of in vitro fertilization. After the disappointment of her failed marriage, she has decided that she doesn't need a man in order to have a baby and would rather do it on her own instead of having to share the baby. Mason is a fertility doctor who loved Lara when they were teenagers. Lara just happens to become his patient and he is shocked to not only see her again after twenty years, but also to find out that he still cares about her. After clearing up some misunderstandings between them, Lara discovers that she actually enjoys hanging out with Mason. She is afraid to admit to their chemistry and makes it clear that the only thing she cares about is having a baby. When Mason keeps trying to talk about a future, she shuts him down because having a baby comes first. Mason has decided that he can win her over with patience. When Lara finally admits her feelings, she decides to take Mason up on the way she should conceive. When a situation arises that isnt' what it seems, Lara feels devasted that she took a chance on Mason. Mason knows what he wants and he isn't about to let Lara get away. When a pregnancy is announced, Lara doesn't know how to take the news. I liked the way the book ended and am quite satisfied with how things turned out.

This was such a hot and steamy read.
Lara is newly divorced and wants to have a baby. She decides to go to a fertility clinic to get pregnant only to discover her first love is her doctor. Embarrassed doesn't even begin to cover this, but she is determined.
When Lara walks into Mason's office he is shocked. His first and only love is in his office looking to have a baby the medical way. She is as beautiful as she was then and he is determined to make up for breaking her heart and becoming her baby daddy. Can Mason heal her wounds and get the girl of his dreams?
I absolutely loved the characters in this book. Mason is such a stud and man can that man can rock your world. Lara is a stubborn ass woman and sometimes I wanted to scream at her, because she let her fears of her ex husband get in the way of true happiness.

The book flowed smoothly and not too quickly. There was one character I would have liked to see be more vindictive. Mason's ex fling. She was a piece of work and I could see more coming from her.
If you are looking for an exciting story full of hot as sin sex. Whooo!! Then this is the book for you. One hot doctor coming right up. I think I need that doctor to give me a baby. ;)

Lara thinks her world has come to a end. She caught her husband cheating on her and was finalizing her divorce settlement. She had also just had a miscarriage at the same time. She decided no Matt what she was going to have a baby. Her biological clock was ticking and she had a plan. She went to a fertility doctor to start the process. When the doctor came in she was in disbelief. Her brothers old best friend was her doctor. Not only that he was the one who she lost her virginity too. She was deeply in love with him. He was 2 years older than her and went off to college breaking all contact with her. When Dr. Mason Chambers saw the patient chart he thought it had to be another Lara McCall. Upon entering the exam room he was in disbelief. It was the one and only when man that had stole his heart 20 years ago. Now he was to help her get pregnant and have a baby. He couldn’t get her out of his head so he contacted her to talk. They get together as friends and her brother gets furious. On top of that her ex starts causing problems too. They try their best to rekindle what they had. All while she is trying to get pregnant. He offers repeatedly to do it the old fashion way. She keeps rejecting his offer. Though she doesn’t reject the hot sex they have. So will this mess up her baby plan? Will Mason and Lara get together? Will she have a baby? If so will it be his? Read the book to find the answers.

Remember the Commandments
I love the conversation with the old lady and Lara.
She shrugged. “I don’t think there’s a rule book. I like to come when I want to feel close to my late husband. He was the regular church goer. I’m more of a part-time gal.” She winked. “Me too,” I whispered. “Is your man giving you some trouble? That always had me running to church. The Bible frowns on killing, so I always came to church when my dear Larry gave me fits.” “Something like that. I’m not sure if he’s my man, but yes, a man is giving me fits,” I agreed. “Oh, sweetie, if you’re sitting here trying to figure out what to do, he is yours all right. There’d be no thinking about it or asking for guidance from the man upstairs if he wasn’t already yours.” Her words hit home. She had a point. If I didn’t feel so strongly for Mason, I would have been over it and gotten on with my life already. Unfortunately, I did feel for him and I really wanted him.
“Thank you,” I said. “You are a very wise woman. I hope you get to feel your husband’s presence today, but I’ve got to get going.” She smiled and patted my hand before letting it go. “Yes, you do. Good luck, sweetie. Remember the ten commandments—don’t kill him.”

This is a great second chance love story about Mason and Lara. They were once in love during high school and once her brother told Mason to stay away or else he did causing heartbreak for each of them. Lara eventually married and divorced as her husband was a cheater and tried to control her. Lara recently lost a baby and now that she is single she will do whatever is necessary to have one withoout a man. Lara seeks help with a fertility clinic and finds herself in front of Dr. Mason the man who broke her heart. Things are a bit uneasy between them and fate just keeps dealing Lara one unexpected issue after another. Mason is not going to let this second chance go and does what he can to start a relationship with Lara. Once they start talking their relationship moves together without being together and they end up in bed together. Not only that but her brother finds out and warns Mason again to stay away and the events that tore them away come out 20 years later. Will Lara be able to get pregnant and will Mason be able to give her this gift? Can they ever overcome the time and start over? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Mason and Lara go way back. Twenty years ago they were in love. But there was one problem, Mason was her brother's best friend. He told Mason to stay away or he would kick his a$$. Mason was young and let that fear dictate their relationship and never talk to her again.
Now Lara has just finished her divorce to her cheating husband. She has always wanted children but she decides she doesn't need anyone for that and goes to the fertility clinic. She doesn't expect to run into the man her broke her heart years go. She is currently in a hate-hate relationship with fate and her embarrassment likes to come when she least expects it.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow! What a wonderful book from start to finish. I was pulled in from the beginning. Lara and Mason were such an amazing couple who after 20 years have an opportunity at a second chance. Mason is the friend of Lara's brother Brian. In high school Lara and Mason fell in love. Unfortunately, Brian found out about Lara and Mason and because Brian thought Mason was no good for Lara he warned him to keep away and never come around again. Twenty years later the two meet again shortly after Lara has divorced her husband after she caught him cheating. Mason owns a fertility clinic and Lara has come to seek treatment after deciding to have a child on her own. The two still have feelings for one another and start to see one another. They also come to realize what was behind Brian's reason for telling Mason to stay away. This is a well written book and I love the story. The chemistry between them is hot and sexy and I love how Mason is willing to help Lara out in his own way and wants to have a life and family with her. I also enjoyed Brian and Kali, Lara's friend finding happiness as well. This was a great story with a wonderful HEA for all.

THE BABY PLAN is a stand-alone, second-chance romance.
When I think of Tia Siren books, I think erotic. This one was more romantic. Don’t get me wrong, it was still hot in parts, but mostly it was about Mason claiming the girl he has loved since she was sixteen years old. Sigh!
I was rooting for Mason all of the way through this story. He made mistakes; we all do, but he knew where his heart was held.
I felt for Lara. All she ever wanted. All of the heartache that she had endured. I understood it. I’ve lived it.
This wonderful story was full of so many feelings, desires, hopes, dreams, and surprises. I’m still smiling.

Great story
I loved this story. I was right there with the characters the whole time. There is bonus stories included but not part of this review.
Overview. Lara was at a new step in her life. She was going through a divorce. With that in mind, she decided to continue on with life and have a baby of her own with out a husband or boyfriend in the picture. But things chance fast when she walked into the fertility clinic and seen that her doctor was her high school boyfriend/brothers best friend. Doctor Mason Chambers. All their old feeling came back, but Lara still felt that she wanted to continue with IVF. Mason offered to be the donor but he also wanted the old fashion way. As they get reacquainted with each other, her brother Brian comes and tries to separate them again. When Lara found out that he was the reason why Mason broke Lara's heart, she was mad. This time she stood up to both of them and was going to make the decisions for herself. That is until she finds out who's baby she is having and where her heart really lies.

3.5 hot sweet "MASON" stars.
This is my first book from Tia Siren and I like it.
It's a sweet second chance romance, both had history together that filled with brokenheart, and now she wants baby and he's willing to provide it. Oh yeah this one has interesting story and with craxy exes and annoying brother, this sure has plenty drama.
It might a bit slow and predictable, but I enjoy it nonetheless.
As for characters, I loveee Mason, I love a man who's not ashamed to admit his cowardness and mistakes and willing to do anything to fix it.
And Lara, I don't really like her, I understand her, but her push and pull towards Mason really annoying, it's like she's taking him for granted.
I might not like Lara, but Mason and Lara are sparkling together, love their banter and all the sweetness and hotness.
If you're looking for second chance romance packed with drama, this one might be the one for you.

What happens when you go to fertility clinic and the owner happens to be your first love, the one who broke your heart. Mason was the best friend of Lara's brother and she had no clue that her brother had told Mason that Lara was off limits. Broken hearted from a miscarriage, a cheating husband and a divorce, she last thing she wants is a man in her life. But she wants a baby and that is how she ended up at Mason's clinic. Still in love with her, Mason decides he wants to father her child 'the old fashion way' and be a permanent part of her life. This is a great story, an emotional roller coaster with lots of ups and downs. No shortage of drama, either. But it's a well written story with strong, complex characters that will warm your heart. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

When they do boy, they make them babies happen fast!

Lara has always thought that life would never give her want she so desperately wanted a baby that is until she decides to take things into her own hands and get want she wants most . Mason a guy who could have any woman he wants , but the one he wants thinks he is a jerk and wants nothing to do with him so he will have to just find a way into her heart once again all come to a head when they end up being the same place at the same time . Have you ever asked yourself is guy that you think can be so wrong for you could end up being the right person that you're looking for along . I received this book as an arc for an honest review and I can say that this book is love story where your soul mate could be the one you least excepted him to be he could be your bestfriend or the guy next door .

I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily giving a free, honest review. I really enjoyed read this book, the drama, excitment and romance made it hard to put down. Lara and Mason were each their first time lovers many years ago forced to separate by a well meaning brother. Now almost twenty years later they meet again when she visits his birth clinic for artificial insemination, her body clock ticking and newly divorced she intends to have a baby before it is too late. Time has not dimmed his love fore her and her attraction to him grows when she finds out why he left her many years ago. I loved reading this story, it's drama and emotion was there as well as renewed love all with a happy ending.

Not my general cup of tea but the blurb intrigued me. This is more of a 3.5 than a 3, for my reading tastes, at least. The characters and past relationship were interesting. I liked how they met again, it was cute, and they did have good chemistry after a bit. I didn't feel it at first, it wasn't coming across to me.
On the other note, sometimes I sort of wanted to smack the heroine over the head with my Kindle and tell her to stop being so dramatic. She frustrated me. At one point, she came off to me as shady, and that really bothered because I tried to wrap my head around her thinking and I just couldn't, so I was left with, "But why would you do that?" in my head. It's still hard to explain that one.
Anyway, completely overall it's good, especially if you want something slightly different. It's like baby trope and second chance trope combined with a twist.

I absolutely love Tia and her books. So very well written with great characters and a great story line. This one has everything that i love in a book. A second chance romance with 2 great characters that have amazing chemistry and a great ending. I loved this book from the beginning to the end. It hooks you from the beginning and has you holding on wanting to know what is going to happen with Lara. I absolutely love her character. She is so strong even when fate seems to throw so much at her at one time. I absolutely love her character. I love how no matter what she will do what she wants to make herself happy. A great second chance love story with a great ending. I highly recommend reading this one. Just a great overall book.

I’m a big fan of Tia Siren’s work and this book is another hit, actually I’ve never read one of Tia’s books that I didn’t like! This is Mason’s and Lara’s story, Mason and Lara knew each other when they were growing up she was 16 and he was 18, they had done everything together they even lost their virginity to each other then one day Mason moved away and it broke Lara’s heart. Years later Lara gets divorced but she wants to have a baby so she goes to the fertility clinic and guess who she see’s there that’s right Mason. Mason is the clinics doctor and when he see’s Lara again all of his feelings do too. This is a very well written story, I loved the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I truly loved this book from Tia Siren. She took second chance romance to the max with this plotline. Lara has been through hell and back and is just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel when she runs into the one that got away...at her doctors appointment! This one took some twists and turns and had some serious ups and downs that brought on a few tears. Absolutley loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This is another great story by Tia Siren. The story is very well written and the characters are amazing.

And the surprise that awaits her at this clinic is just perfect! Dr. Mason, Lara's teenage ex-boyfriend, is the doctor responsible for making her wish come true. But will he do what she wants, or will he want to make a child of her in the natural way?
Some misunderstandings in the past have disrupted Lara and Mason's relationship, but will they now be able to pick up where they left off?
Kali and Brian are also very interesting characters.
