I am quite an organised person by nature and am always looking to improve on my surroundings and reduce clutter and chaos, especially now that I have two children under three. I bought this book when we were midway throguh a big renovation at home and was looking to halve our belongings and start with a clean, fresh space.

I loved Marie Kondō's take on decluttering and living more mindfully and had already introduced the KonMari method into our home. Organised follows the same kind of logic and first asks you to examine everything that takes up space in your house. Sarah Reynolds is extremely practical in the way she approaches clutter and I still found myself picking up tips from her.

I loved the sections on sorting through your wardrobe and cabinets, organising your schedule and cleaning up your mind; it definitely is a great approach to ensuring your day is more productive and enjoyable. There are some very detailed examples in here and I think anyone who reads this will really benefit from the information. Plus, the book is presented in a really lovely way and looks great on a bookshelf, which doesn't hurt. I'll definitely be referring back to this one - a really useful and pretty book.

This book visually is stunning and very well laid out. The author is very thorough and provided lots of examples and explanations. The book does tend to focus a lot on family homes which was not relevant to me but I found it interesting. Naturally I am an extremely organised person so although interesting, I didn’t learn anything new (I have also read a lot of these types of books). However I would definitely recommend it to someone who needs to get back some control/organisation back in their lives.

Organization books don’t always have a clear structure. This one did. It covered habits and time management as well as discarding. I would definitely read this again. There were a couple of odd phrases that perhaps only Irish readers will understand? I am not Irish.
