OK, took me a while to get through this one. Very long and very dense, but an extremely good introduction to my Museum Studies course. I feel much better prepared than I did before I read it.

Useful to get a basis of the ongoing debates and theory within the field. Book may be outdated due to the changing nature of the field but has its place as a reference and starting place for locating further literature.

I would recommend that people in the museum field read this book. Some articles are better than others, but all in all it's an excellent book.
