I did not expect the MC to be blind in this story, so when I started it and figured that out I was surprised. The mystery was okay. I didn't care all that much who deleted the movie, but I was glad that it wasn't obvious.

After reading Shade, I had to get my hands on more of Mere Joyce's work and I must say, this book did not disappoint. I was glued from the beginning.
Preston and his friends, Vi and Nico are organizing a film festival for his school's film club, but after one of the films goes missing just two days before the festival, Preston has a hard time convincing his friends of the shadow he saw and the noise he heard as the film went missing. After all, it's hard to explain shadows when you're legally blind.
Preston is determined to catch the thief and has suspicions of his own, but little does he know that it's not who he thinks.
I really enjoyed Shadow and would definitely recommend.

It was interesting having the main character be legally blind, but explaining that he could sometime make out shadows or shapes. I liked that the culprit and reason wasn't obvious...in fact, it was surprising. All in all, his was an okay story.

Good book about a blind student organizing a films event until one of the competitors film went missing 2 days before the film festival. He then tries to find out who deleted it and if they could get it back with the help of his friends Vi and Nico. Preston confronts one of the competitors Brandon because he assumed it was him since he was a cocky person. But Brandon wasn't the one who took the film. Vi walks into the room with her friend Constance. One day before the film festival Constance admits to Preston that He was the one who deleted the film only because he didnt want the film maker to change as a person because he knew that if the film maker won he would lose them as a friend.
