The Uncanny Huntsman by Golden Czermack. This book was a great little read. Like all his books expect the twist and turns and then you have a WTF moment. This book has a little bit of Swole and Journeyman. Love the references he uses. Highly recommend. A hot night of paranormal.

This collection from the members of the R&E Author Fraternity has something for everyone and for me it was an introduction to the work of writers I hadn’t read before.

Some stories, like Golden Czermak’s The Uncanny Huntsman and Rob Somers’ Sacrifice will leave you with tears in your eyes, as will Seth King’s Torture, but for a different reason, as his story ends on a note of hope, while Golden and Rob’s stories are about loss.

Scott Hildreth’s Dirty Money and BT Urruela’s Bishop leave us “hanging”, but word is there’s more to come in the next few months ~ please don’t make readers wait too long.

Derek Adam’s Houseguest is fast-paced, makes you want more and you can have it immediately as it’s a prequel to the Veil of Darkness series.

Christopher Harlan’s Delta Iota Kappa: A Fraternity Story is a quick, hot read, that’s also a great reminder that one should never assume anything about someone based on just a few things they’ve observed. People will surprise you.

Hot Cold Front by Mickey Miller is also a reminder to not make assumptions about others because of your first impressions, and leaves the reader with the hope of a better future.

Chris Genovese’s The Strings on Me introduces readers to Lucky (Nick) and Natalia and we have hope for a happily ever after, but then Carver Pike comes along and blows our minds with Cutting Hs Strings and we learn what the future really holds for Lucky and Natalia.

Every story in this collection makes me want more from the Bad Boyz of romance and I can’t wait to read more from this very talented group of writers.

Great reads for two excellent causes

I don’t know where or how Golden Czermak comes up with these ideas but they keep getting better and better! Granted this was a short story it packed a huge punch and I was so upset when it was over. As a long time fan of Czermak it was nice to see references from his previous works. As always I was left wanting way more and I’m hoping we can get another short story featuring Greg!

Are you serious Scott Hildreth!!?? Ugh - I don’t want to wait! However I have May 15 on my calendar and will try to patiently await the release of Dirty Money. So far I’m loving the characters and am excited to see what happens next.

I’ve only read the one short story and will update this review once I’ve read more.

So far I have only read The Uncanny Huntsman by Golden Czermack
This author and his imagination never cease to amaze me! Each of his books are unique and completely original. This was no exception.
I was reading along enjoying this interesting college age possible romance story then it took a turn, a WTF turn. A turn that left me wondering what did I just read? Mouth hanging open, speechless reading the end.
Blown away once again by a Golden Czermak story!

Frat Brothers Chronicles
These 10 brothers of the DIK fraternity across the country have some serious antics up their sleeves! They are hilarious, they are sexy, they are extra, and they are just so damned loveable! Each story is just as different as these wonderful authors. The book as a whole is an amazing cornucopia of themes and emotions.
Bishop – BT Urruela
A cocky combat wounded vet with a heart of gold.....hmmmm. There are moments when I wanted to shake my head at Bishop, like when he gets in a fight, and other moments, like the with Hank the homeless guy that I wanted to give him all the big hugs. He drinks a lot. Seems everything revolves around alcohol, which as a frat brother I suppose it kinda goes with the territory.
Bishop is older than the other pledges of DIK since he’s went into the military at 18 instead of college like some of these other kids. But the college and the fraternity might be a good place for Bishop to start his civilian life.
It was a good, quick, fast paced story that takes you through Bishop’s experience as a pledge for DIK. I think there was some chatter about ending being a cliff hanger BUT – the full length Bishop is about to be released (or is already). This is good story telling.
Dirty Money – Scott Hildreth
You don’t mess with a girl of a DIK brother! The story starts with Carter’s girlfriend kidnapped and then weaves its way around how Carter and Lex met. It’s a tension filled whirlwind of a tale. Danger, bad cops, and drug dealers. This hot little number is a snipet in the full length novel of the same name.

The Uncanny Huntsman – Golden Czermak
Greg is a trip. I love Greg. He’s a geeky chemical engineer student who also happens to like ghost hunting and body building. I can kinda relate – being geeky and geeking out over ghosts and squat technique. I like it when i meet a character I suspect I’d like in person.
He does get himself in trouble with meeting a man online (yep, done that too!)
It is a beautiful ghost / love story; a little element of danger and supernatural. And it seems fitting that the next story, by Seth King, is titled Torture because that’s kind of how I felt for Greg at the end of this one.
Tortured – Seth King
Grant Newman just lost the love of his life but may be on to something even more profound.
Eric Crass has been in love his best friend for years but never felt brave enough reveal himself.
Short and hot with lots of love and hope.
Houseguest – Derek Adam
Virgil, Sutter, and Luca – vigilante, mercenary, Three Stooges or Three Musketeers of hunting malevolent entities. It’s funny, they’re funny, these cowboys of the spirit world.
Luca, the hot-blooded investigator of this crew, is called to investigate odd behavior and happenings at his friend’s frat house. Things are definitely different here and Luca and Virgil are thrown in to a bit of extraordinary chaos. There are funny bits, there are serious bits, and there are antics and shenanigans. Not sure why the ‘cowboy’ had to be kept in ‘storage’ though.
I like the idea of humans being able to interact with the spirit world. This short story is a prequel of a longer book called Veil of Darkness book 1.
Hot Cold Front – Mickey Miller
Oh, I am all for a cozy winter’s night with Luther Huxton! A, not everything you assume about a person is what you get, kind of story. Both Luther and Shannon wind up surprised by each other in the best possible ways. Left me with an “awe :) yay” feeling. Such a good story! Great details and descriptions that put you right in the moment.
Delta Iota Kappa: A Fraternity Story – Christopher Harlan
I’m so excited for Hadley and Patrick! It was a quick, insta-love kinda thing but the kind that is built on an open, honest, communication. Super hot and sexy too! They are both in a sister / brother fraternity / sorority. Naturally Hadley expects him to be a typical frat boy and it’s while at a sorority function that she is pleasantly surprised.
The story drew me in, the descriptions and activity was well laid out. Such a fun quickie!
Sacrifice – Rob Somers
Big, dumb jocks with hearts just as big if not bigger. Donnie, Miles, Tweeter and their football antics and the way they love their women will worm their ways into your hearts.
Donnie and Miles grew up together and have a super tight bond. Their girlfriends, Harper and Abby are, well, sexy saints for putting up with them and Tweeter’s antics. All three guys play for Wesley Pine University and are brothers at DIK; but not just frat brothers or football teammates, the five of them are a family. The excitement and love is even more amplified by the fact that they are all headed to Fort Dix to pick up Donnie’s brother Alec after returning from deployment.
The Strings on Me – Chris Genovese
This is the kind of writing that I get all English / Writing major geeked out about. “With that, she picked up her bow, and put up an invisible wall between us that was founded on bricks full of confidence and fixed in place by a slathered-on paste of “don’t fuck with me.” It’s clever. It’s unique.
The Strings on Me is Nick “Lucky” Luciano’s story. Meets pretty musician playing a viola, which he mistakes for a violin. She’s ‘fresh’ and sassy. She’s unlike his other ladies because she doesn’t immediately fall all over him. She’s a challenge. Boy, does he get caught up in all her strings!
Natalia is from Russia. She’s at Logan University to study music. She is super focused and determined. It’s what she does at night, when everyone else is asleep that is interesting. Not such the mousy, quiet, classical musician you might immediately assume. I LOVED her complexity. And so does Lucky.
Mixed with the sensuality surrounding Lucy and Natalia are some funny moments with the DIK frat brothers.
Cutting His Strings – Carver Pike
Dandy loved Nick. She was deeply, painfully, in love with him. Maybe a little Emily Dickenson meets Silvia Plath kind of depressed.
A little more of Natalia’s darker side is exposed and draws Lucky in deeper. Where Dandy’s dark side was obsessive and depressing, Natalia’s dark side was vibrant and dangerous, exciting.
Favorite line, “I wanted to tuck my entire body into a ball and climb into his kiss”
As the story progresses things start to change and we start seeing a different side to both Natalia and Dandy. Let’s just say, one of these ‘ladies’ is not what you think she is.
I can’t get into what happens, that would give too much away; but, believe me when I say that holy sh*tballs you’re going to be blown away!

I loved every book in this anthology. I loved how they were all so different but they all had something to do with DIK. Since I read the whole book Ill write a little review for each one. Im going to put the author's fist name by each review.
BT- I loved Bish. I love how the frat all interacted nd their brotherhood. I was mad when the story ended because I need more of the story.
Scott- I loved this book. For a short story it was packed with action. I love how he is a take charge kind of guy and she just followed his lead not because she is weak but because she loves an alpha guy. Golden- I loved this book. Its my favorite type of paranormal ghosts. I love how the guys went ghost hunting and he got more then he bargained for. This is the book I find my self telling my book friends about the most because im still trying to mentally wrap my head around this one.
Seth- I loved these guys. It was a hot read. I want to see the guys relationship blossom.
Derek- I loved this frat house. I love how people changed and only one was able to see it. The hall was pretty sweet. Gotta love the butt touch.
Mickey- I loved this one. I love how people arnt always what you assume and when given the chance they can surprise you.
Christopher- I love these characters. It left me wanting more. I think they have more to offer.
Rob-This story tugged at my heart. It had highs and lows and the emotions jumped off the page.
Chris- I loved this book. I love how these two got together. They seem so different but similar at the same time.
Carver- OMG this book took all that I thought I knew and turned it upside down. I loved this twisted tale and want to know more about a certain organization.

The Uncanny Huntsman by Golden Czermak.
If you've read any of Golden's books, you already know to expect the unexpected in the most unconventional way.
This was a nice quick read, but like all of his other stories, there are plenty of little tidbits that you will recognize from a couple of his other series'. I was curious how he was going to give us everything we come to expect from him with such a limit on size. If there's one thing Golden does as good as anyone it's painting a picture in your head with his words, this is no exception. You meet Greg and a couple of his Frat brothers, but when Greg 'meets' Eddie online in a chat room, that's where the story takes off. Both of them like ghost hunting and with a haunted house not far from Greg, he and Eddie decide to meet up and give it a go.
Should I have seen it coming, yes. Did I have even the slightest clue, nope. Well done Golden, you continue to amaze me with your talent.

I read The Uncanny Huntsman by Golden Czermak. It is an interesting tale about Greg, a typical college guy that lives in a fraternity house. He enjoys working out at the gym. And his favorite hobby is ghost hunting. He ends up hooking up with Eddie via The Uncanny Huntsman website. And Eddie is just his kind of guy. There is a mutual attraction (oh boy, was there!) and they decide to hook-up as well as go on a ghost hunt at a local colonial house during Spring Break.

This is a great short story - hot and steamy, with a bit of mystery. Check it out!

I received an ARC of this story in return for an honest review. I will update this after I receive my copy of the Anthology.

The Uncanny Huntsman by Golden Czermak

5 WTF Stars!

Even with only 4 chapters Golden does it again! I loved how this story had so many familiar references to Golden himself, Journeyman and Swole. He does an amazing job of pulling us into Greg’s world. I smiled and laughed out loud a few times . As usual there is a good amount of heat and sexiness in this short story, but as usual the mindf@&$ happens and all you can think is “Did that just happen? WTAF!” I have yet to read the rest of this anthology but if the other stories are even half as amazing as this one, I am certainly glad I preordered!

Bishop by BT Urruela.

I could certainly Identify with Bishop rushing a frat at an older age and having had a career prior to college.
This story follow Bishop, who has left the Army, started college and is now going through rush. However, it leaves you hanging. Which makes me very excited to see what’s in store for Bishop in the future. Hopefully it’ll be soon!

Very well executed. Shows a good view of the Greek process and Greek life.

Dirty Money by Scott Hildreth

A story about Carter & Lex. We get a snippet into how their story began after Lex is held against her will and rescued by Carter. Just when your ready for more Scott leaves us hanging to await a full novel to come soon.

Sheer amazing!

10 Authors...10 stories...one Fraternity. I'm absolutely floored by this anthology. Each story in this book is incredibly written that you just get sucked into it and don't want to put the book down. I've read this book twice now and can't wait to see some of the stories unfold in a full book. Each author has incredible talent and the ability to keep you glued to the pages. Thank you to BT Urruela, Rob Somers, Scott Hildreth, Christopher Harlan, Mickey Miller, Seth King, Golden Czermak, Derek Adam, Chris Genovese and Carver Pike for this amazing book. You are all a force to reckon with and I'm looking forward to the next book.

I’ve only read The Uncanny Huntsman so far and I must say it wasn’t at all what I expected. Everything seemed pretty typical in the beginning. Greg knew what he wanted, Eddie, and he went after it. It helped that they had common hobbies. Then things got a bit out of hand and I started to get really upset for Greg but then Golden Czermak dropped quite the bomb and made me even more curious to know more about Eddie and his situation. I definitely didn’t see that twist coming. This was a very quick read that definitely left me wanting more.

So far the only book in this anthology I've been able to read is Golden Czermak's The Uncanny Huntsman and boy did it meet all of my expectations. The ride is fast and hot..which is exactly how I like it. But hold onto your panties because there are a few bumps along the way.

I will continue to edit and add to my review for The Frat Chronicles Anthology. I will add a short review pertaining to each author/contribution and complete it with rating it as a whole....

Bishop by BT Urruela - 5 STARS -
Short, yet amazing. Story is left with you wondering what is next. Luckily, the full length novel has been released and the reader can quickly pick up where it left off. Bishop has some amazing characters and the plot is very intriguing. This story will leave you with a wide range of emotions from excitement, sadness, anger, laughter and everything in between.

Hot Cold Front by Mickey Miller - 5 STARS -
This short read was my first from this author, but surely NOT my last. I loved Shannon and Luther and their story. It was a perfect blend between sweet and sexy. There was backstory and it held me fully from beginning to end. This author knows his way around words and I am eager to dive into more. Hot Cold Front was a perfect addition to this anthology!

Houseguest by Derek Adam - 4 STARS -
Houseguest was different than what I am used to. It was a pleasant change of scenery for me with adding a paranormal element to this contribution. It peaked my interest and am looking forward to reading Veil of Darkness. Great read!

Sacrifice by Rob Somers - 5 Stars -
Sacrifice ripped me in two. The author write an incredible, heart felt short story that gave me goosebumps. I was taken back to when I have waited in the hangar, anticipating my brother's return. There is nothing like that moment. Each time is like the first. It is raw and full of emotion. This story hit close to home and made me FEEL. I whole heartedly loved it!

Dirty Money by Scott Hildreth -
The Uncanny Huntsman by Golden Czermak -
Torture by Seth King -
Delta Iota Kappa by Christopher Harlan -
The Strings on Me by Chris Genovese -
Cutting His Strings by Carver Pike -
