Sleeping Alone

Rate this book
Sleeping Alone is named after the first essay I ever wrote on singleness many, many years ago. It is a book of essays on singleness, dating, guys, girls, and waiting. Writing through my singleness was one of God's best tools of sanctification for me and I hope this ebook encourages you as you read. It encouraged me to write.

Honest and personal. This is a collection of blog posts about singleness written by the author while she was single as well as when she got married. I appreciate her rawness and willingness to tackle difficult topics and challenge single and married people's assumptions about single and married life. It is a short book that will not take you a long time to read it but I am sure you'll find things to ponder on and wrestle with, and ultimately feel encouraged.

Lore Wilbert's thoughts on singleness aligned so closely with my own that I felt I was reading about my personal journey through singleness.

Not that singleness should be viewed as something to "get through", but I know many people struggle with being single (I was one of those people) and I feel very passionate about changing not only how society views singleness, but how the church views it as well.

Reading Sleeping Alone, encouraged me to continue to pursue avenues that allow me to speak into this space.
