Published in collaboration with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, this highly respected resource provides the foundational knowledge medical students need to complete an Ob/Gyn rotation, pass national standardized exams, and competently care for women in clinical practice.
Fully compliant with the College’s guidelines, treatment recommendations, and committee opinions, the text also aligns with the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics' educational objectives, upon which most clerkship evaluations and final exams are based.
This book was assigned to us for our OBGYN Clerkship, along with a 50q quiz based on the text. I read it because I couldn't get First Aid for OBGYN. It was fine, in that it offered the information in a clear and organized way, and I passed the quiz, so that was nice. But it felt like they really harped on some common sense subjects and sometimes repeated the same information. I think it helped me perform better on UWorld and the Shelf Exam, but if I could go back in time, it would not be my first choice.
