Interesting perspective from a Christian neuro-scientist. Mackay argues that Christians ought not to rely on a God of the gaps or fight against scientific progress, but should embrace all scientific discovery, even though it continually shows how more and more of our universe operates totally according to physical laws. Even the human soul, he shows, is not some magical, spiritual entity pulling the strings of our bodies, but rather an emergent property of our physical brains.
