If you're wondering why I read this book, I have the same question. I was on my Kindle while it was late, saw it, said "I am Beyoncè. Always." and then downloaded it. I don't know. But anyway, this book had some good facts and I like how it had good pictures of her without making this seem like a book meant for kids. Also, I don't know like anything about celebs, I had no idea that Beyoncè and Jay-Z are married. I also had no idea that Jay-Z's name is Shawn Carter. Ew. I don't like it. Anywho, if y'all like Beyoncè or are bored and want to... learn about Bey I guess? Read this. It's quick and easy, and I learned some new things.
This book is in the genre of biographies and was read via eBook. This book would be intended for children ages 10-13. This book contains factual information on Beyonce that is more mature for the readers to understand. I really liked how the book gave lots of information on her and things that she has accomplished and how she finally got to where she was going. There are pictures included through out the book showing Beyonce from different parts of her life as well as photos of her performing. The book does an amazing job of not only talking about her professional life but as her life as a wife and as a mother. These are important aspects to be included. This book may be appealing to young readers due to the fact that she is a pop star in this day and age. The students may even be familiar with her work.
