Just not liking it

Didn’t like anything about this book. I’ve read some books from this author before and they were pretty enjoyable for what they were.
Didn’t like this story or it’s characters.

It was Alright Nothing Spectacular just Alright :[

I give it three stars because it was....im not even really sure what a good word for it is kind of dull decent plot, you got a girl on the run from her abusive ex gets a job working at a MC Bar where shifters run it. The Alphas son falls madly in love or lust with her and when he sees she's been hurt he takes her in and tries to protect her from her ex. The ex ends up going to jail they live happily ever after Blah. See what I mean not so interesting, the sex scenes were decent but this to me it was really nothing like my normal shifter romance novels. Daredevil only shifts once in the entire story he didn't even mark her when they mated which always happens in shifter romance novels. This would have fit better in that category I see pop up all the time Bad Boys MC Club or something like that. And there were a couple things that didn't match up like the author forgot, for example in the last scene when they're being intimate he tells her he is going to do his business inside her if u know what I mean like they haven't been doing it all the other times they had been together but the author never said anything about him using protection or pulling out sorry if that's too detailed but it's little slip ups like that really drive me crazy. Another one was Daredeville called her wanted to know her ex boyfriends name and he told her he was going to handle it and well he does end up having to deal with Club business first but then the story just goes on leaving u thinking well did he do it or what? Then you know of course he didn't because here's the jerk busting in her door again. And also makes u think why the hell he would even let her go back to that place if he's so worried about her safety knowing he never handled the problem. Again I say I'm sorry if I'm going over board yes it's just a book but that's my opinion it was free for me so no loss here I won't be reading on.

This was a cute story, nothing dark or dirty about it. The story mostly revolved around the steamy scenes(and there were quite a few), though there was some MC plot mixed in. The characters were fun and I enjoyed their distinctive personalities, I look foward to reading about them. This was a straight foward story; soft and sweet, nothing overly complicated or dramatic. It was fun to read and did not follow "traditional" shifter or MC trope rules. It is labled as an insta-lust/insta-love but at the end Daredevil says IF we are mates... The epilogue was cute.

There were a few issues that irked me throughout this story (hence the reason I subtracted a star). One, was what seemed like the andom use of exclamation points. I am not sure what some of them were trying to convey, but many seemed random or like the characters yelling just misplaced. Another issue was the word choices the author used. I had highlighted a few, but for this reivew I will tell this example: There is a scene where Daredevil moved some hair from Melody's face, in a sweet, caring move but the author called her hair "fringe." I re-read just to make sure it really was hair and not some part of clothing or a hat. There were a few of these throughout the story and though they did not detract from the story, they did break up the reading flow and confuse me for a minute.

I will read this author again and check out more in this series. This was a nice book to read when I justed wanted something different and entertaining.

Cute, well-liked characters and fast paced storyline! Even though he was a big, bad and tough shifter MC, he never likes to see his woman cry. And has sworn, he was going to be a faithfulman unlike his father was to his mother. Not to mention, a great lover and supports her career, too!!! He is definitely a keeper. LOL.

The 1st book in a new MC series and I can not wait until we read about his sister and his friends in their own books. I just hope the other books continue to be just as good.

Kept me interested...but

I wanted to finish the story to get answers to various points in the story line...but I never did. For instance, the money Maxwell accused her of stealing?? Another odd point, sex on the kitchen floor...& bathroom floor...and what?? You just fall asleep there & don't pick her up and take her to bed? There were several editing issues & uses of incorrect words...example, ZIP instead of ZIPPER. Overall, I feel like it was a sweet love story that tried to take on a bad boy edge and it just didn't really spend. I'd give it a 3.5.

A runaway from an abusive ex finds Melody working on a shifter MC club.

Melody has just left her ex boyfriend who was abusive and she is living with a friend. Melody takes a job at a shifter MC bar and in walks Daredevil and both are drawn to each other. Can they get past the rules and their lasts to make a future together. Lots of steamy Romance and the characters are such fun . I highly recommend this book.

Well written, face paced, enjoyable read!! There were a few ups and downs in the story which just bring you closer to the main characters. Once I started reading I could not stop. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Awesomesauce

Bad ass, sweet, hot, great story line, charters to fall for and it even has its funny moments. Damn can this author write!
