Wedded is based on a true story and depicts the tale of a couple who begin their journey as strangers, bound in holy matrimony through an arranged marriage. The book takes you through the lives of the protagonists, who despite being caught amidst the entangled web of relationships, wither all storms, as their blossoming love reaches its culmination and they find their happily-ever-after, eventually. Fuelled with sibling rivalry, misplaced affections, chanced upon encounters and scorching desires, Wedded makes up for a compelling read for anyone and everyone who believes in the ability of true love and the sanctity of marriage.
A very beautiful Tale of two different individuals tied in Holy Matrimony by an Arranged Marriage. The book takes us on a journey of how in spite of living in a joint family, Arnav and Khushi the two individuals come to love each other overcoming all the hurdles of betrayal, jealousy, deceit, malice by becoming the anchors to each other and at the same time being loyal to their family and near and dear ones.
What a ride! Fe-en-Dios is such a wonderful writer. I just fell in love with Arnav from Wedded. He struggled through his shortcomings and crossed every hurdle by sheer determination. In spite of receiving nothing other than ridicule and hatred from his own mother, he didn’t turn out to be a bitter person. He is not only an astute businessman, but also a kind and generous soul. I respect Dadi for loving him and recognizing him for the gem he is.
It was heartening to see Arnav & Khushi bonding and blossoming in their relationship. Both of them were each other’s strength, in more ways than one. I am so glad Garima and Dadi had the foresight to see that these two are made for each other. Of course they had their share of arguments and misunderstandings, but which couple doesn’t? The way they patched up and looked out for each other was so endearing!
Speaking of Garima, her story was so painful. If not for Shashi, I am scared to think of how it might have ended for her and Khushi. It's depressing to know sadists like Garima's in-laws (Ex!) still exist in the society. I bow down my head to Shashi for not only standing up for his love, but also accepting Khushi with open arms and loving her like his own (or probably more!).
And then the whole business angle. The whole plot was quite engrossing and built anticipation on what comes next.
All in all Wedded is a very gripping and heart warming tale. I plan to read it many more times in the days to come! Fe-en-Dios
This one is my personal favourite so far from the author. Falling in love in an arranged marriage is such a treat to read. Family drama at its best. It was such an amazing roller coaster ride with ups and downs and the constant thrill of what awaited next. It was a simple story with secrets that had me sitting on the edge throughout the read. The characters are so nicely written that one can relate to their flaws and emotions through and through. Couldn’t keep it down once I started reading it.
A fantastic take on the stereotypical arranged marriage, shattering the misnomers surrounding the institutions and propelling the notion of love inculcating between strangers.
Tha author has done a phenomenal job of convincingly moulding the protagonists and the antagonists with adequate attention to detail, and the chemistry between the protagonists is unmissable.
Good story but lots of grammatical and punctuation mistakes.
Story is good but the character names are same as an Indian serial Iss Pyar ko kya Naam Doon. The story needs to be thoroughly edited. The new paragraph begins with no introduction so it takes a little time to understand what exactly is going on.
