Perhaps this book would have grabbed me more if I'd read it when I first became a consultant, or even just before I'd become a consultant. I found the information and the language dated (I think the book should at least be updated to have more inclusive language), and most of the information to be a backdoor way of selling product or the consultant opportunity.

I think there are much better books out there now with this information, that have more depth, are more inclusive, and aren't trying to sell you something.

Ultimately, I couldn't finish reading it.

Informative!! Empowering!!

I thought I knew all there was to know! Patty did such a great job explaining so many things about our bodies and our sexual relationship with ourselves and/or our special someone. She did a great job dispelling so many negative beliefs that we carry around sex and maturation. Great book!!! Very empowering to be more comfortable in our own skin and take our sexual pleasures to a level we never dreamed possible.

I loved the atmosphere of this book, like Patty and I were having a little chat on a chesterfield loveseat each with a glass of wine in our hands. She uses the proper terminology, with researched and sound advice, but delivers it in such a tender, kind and caring way. Despite the publication date, I'd say this book aged quite well, also like Patty herself - a fine wine indeed.

I lived on my own at 17 and had no clue about my body this book was helpful and I would recommend this to help you learn your body better.
