It's a book about two teenagers, a German girl, Hannah, and an American boy, Brandon, who both move to Berlin. They meet each other and become friends through an online chat room. The chapters told from Hannah's perspective are in German and the chapters told from Brandon's perspective are in English, as well as the dialogue between the two. It's written for Germans learning English, so the English chapters have words in bold that are listed again at the bottom of each page with the German definition. I read this as a native English speaker learning German. It was an interesting language exercise and the book was a pretty quick read. The story isn't amazing, but it's certainly more interesting than reading a German text book!
