Between The Lines

I feel like I am going to have a hard time writing this review. Don't get me wrong, this book earned every one of those 5 stars and them some but I don't want to give anything away. All I can say is WOW! You'll fall in love with Amy and J.P. and how their relationship develops. You can't help but love Samantha too. The end of this book had me wishing for more and my mouth, literally, hanging open. I swear, Drew Sera is an evil genius!

OMG.. WOW. This is a such a must read like all of Drew books. I loved the whole book from the start to the end.. I don't want to give so much away since this was the ARC and it doesn't come 27th. Let just say of you love her books you will love this one.. Can't wait to see what you have next Drew 💜💜💜💜

Between the Lines is a very well written story with amazing characters. Amy is an author and needed advice and stumbled across JP. Together they build a special bond. The PA Samantha is a riot. This book will have you crying you are laughing so hard at some of the things said. There is one character in the beginning of the book that I loved- her name was Jen and she reminded my a lot of myself. Another impressive thing about this book was I had thought I figured something out from teasers and it keep my glued to the book waiting to see if I was right or wrong about it. In the ending I found out. This is one book you will want to read.

Oh my where to begin? This amazing book of Amy and JP. The chemistry between JP and Amy is hot, but yet sweet. This book takes us on their journey. Drew Sera will make you fall in love with these characters, only to give us quite a shock! Sera writes so brilliantly, she sucks you into their world and blows you away! This book is full of twists and turns. There is some pretty hot sexting scenes too! This book made me fall in love with the characters and root for them! More than a 5☆ read in my opinion.

Drew brings you a romance with a BDSM vein . Amy is a romance author who decides to ‘darker’. Her assistant points her in the direction of a website called Kinky links and it’s there she ‘meets’ JP a sadist who she contacts and asks for pointers on her new book. Through, emails then texts and eventually phone calls a beautiful friendship develops between them . I can’t recommend this book enough, the chemistry between Amy and JP bubbles up to boiling point . It’s a must for all fans of Drew’s writing

Wow!!!!! I just love everything about this story. The sweetness of Amy, the firecracker Sam, The dark side as well as romantic side of JP all goes the book together amazingly. I love how mysterious some parts seem but as you get into the book everything slowly unfolds. The very end of the book when everything ties together and the muse is revealed i thought ahhhh makes sense now and i love how the other series was tied in. I would absolutely love to see more on Amy and JPs story and see if and how she is adjusting to this new lifestyle and relationship.
I hope my words were able to do this book the praising it deserves. This book is not only a must read and recommend but a must have right now! I received an arc and i am voluntarily leaving this honest review!
PS. I will never be able to think of a ginger root in the same light again!

Where do I start.... well lets just say I am in utter shock. The books drew me in completely.. JP and Amy.. fab story.. author wanting to know about BDSM lifestyle for a novel.. Dom contacted her to help out... things progress nicely then.... BAM!! ... What happened... my life got turned upside down by JP... I wont spoil if for u all but I was not expecting that to happen. Drew is a sneak... knowing how we all feel about a certain individual... I never in a million years saw the ending coming ... Bravo Drew Sera.. utter genius.

Drew Sera leaves the beautifully crafted world of Everett Gaming Systems and Club Irons to bring us the story of Amy, a romance author who decides she wants to delve into the dark side of the romance world. She finds an online mentor turned friend in J.P. Their journey together changes them both as the bond between them grows. This is a must read for Sera fans and a wonderful way for new readers to get to know her.

OMFG! i can't ... i just can't!
I will say that this book CAN be read as a standalone...BUT!!!! It will mean so much more if you have read the Everett Gaming Series and Club Irons books 💜

Mind blown

Talk about plot twist and cliff hangers. Holy crap this book was amazing. It's sweet, a little edgy and it makes you fell in love with the two main characters. Amy is sweet and caring and J.P is hot and you will learn to love him. But Ms. Sera will mess with your mind and the last 15 minutes of the book will have you saying WTF. YOU MUST READ IT to find out what I'm talking. No spoilers here.

this book is about an author who writes romance books but is looking at writing a new style to her, a dark romance, a lifestyle she is interested in learning about. she puts feelers out there to get some questions answered. she gets many offers to help but chooses one in particular. J.P, offers her his help and along the way you fall in love with J.P, as she does. this is a great book , great insight into the lifestyle and the people within it. Great job Drew.

Have you read any Drew Sera book? Well this one is going to blow your mind like none of the others have. You will question everything you thought you knew and you will come up empty. Drew Sera has decided playing with her readers bodies is not enough and now she is playing with our minds!

I was totally blown away by the ending of this book and also a little sad that Amy will not have her happy ever after. I had thought that the book was semi autobiographical even down to the green tic tacs albeit not M & M's but perhaps the reality is Tic Tacs? I knew this would be different but it took me a little time to really get into the style and I really wanted J.P. to let Amy know who he was and was so pleased when that worked out. Then I read the epilogue and my perceptions all went by the wayside and I felt really sad. A great book that really took me by surprise and that does not happen very often at all.

Between the Lines by Drew Sera

SHOCKED!!! That is all I can say.  From the very first page I dragged me into this book and I will tell you that I couldn’t put it down.  We have loved Drew’s books and eagerly await the newest installment with Between the Lines being the latest.

We get to meet Amy who is an author of romance novels and has been successful in her venture.  She has a smiley, bubbly PA Samantha who keeps her on schedule and takes great care to ensure she has everything she needs.  To change it up a bit they discuss changing the genre Amy writes in to something darker and more erotic.  On Sam’s advice Amy decide to start researching and is looking for someone to guide her in this new world.  So, she decides to research, pick a couple of sites (dungeons) and post a request for information.

Guess what she gets a couple of responses but one catches her attention and decides to take him up on his offer to answer any questions that she has.  He is dark, mysterious, sexy as sin and is willing to help her with the research that she needs to dive deep into the world of dark erotica.  Surprisingly he happens to enjoy reading romances and provides Amy with exactly what she didn’t know she needed.

Just when the story is winding down and life is going well we blindsided.  SHOCKED is all I can say.  I had to read it again just to make sure that I read it correctly.   Drew never ceases to amaze me with her writing.  When she is explaining about the life of Amy I can’t help but wonder if there is some of her real life in there somewhere.

As much as I would love to tell you why I’m shocked I can’t.  Just know that this is well worth the read and will leave you scratching your head.  Don’t get me wrong there are not loose ends in this story but if you have read other books by Drew my statement will make perfect sense when you read Between the Lines.

Highly anticipated and worth the wait.

The Prince and his Princess

This is the second books I've read by Drew Sera. The first was Saving Graves. My point for saying this is that I have read these two books like stand alones, which you totally can, how ever I see now why reading from the beginning will have more meaning.
What I've also found is Drew Sera has a way of developing emotions of all sorts. Each of the books I read had a strong emotional reaction from me. From the gleefully new love interest kind like in the his book, to the heart wrenching anger in the other.
Talking specifically about Between the Lines, I love the way Amy is part of this book world I have grown to love. I especially love how Drew has used real blogs I am a member of. A few of them are admin'd by women I admire greatly in the blogging community. Ii started my own blog in Dec 2017. I had no idea Drew had included them in this book. The Facebook connection and author events are so fun and real. It made me smile at how Drew showed her appreciation by including these real blogs in her book.
-- i am attending my first author in event and ironically Ms. Drew Sera will be there. I am excited to connect the dots between this line and Drew as the author.

Now I will be starting at the beginning with Fragile.

This story was amazing!! Once I started I couldn’t stop! It’s the kinda story that makes you stay up all night instead of going to bed like your supposed too 😉 but it was so worth it! This is the story of Amy and JP it’s a slow burn type story that builds over the book and it’s so amazingly done! Amy is an author who decides she wants to spice up get writing style by changing things up a little and into light BDSM but doesn’t know exactly what is real and what is what people think. She wants the actual facts and finds the perfect source for her book JP, he’s more than happy to help her to understand BDSM for her book and in general.

I don’t want to say more I don’t wish to spoil it for anyone so I’ll only say that I completely devoured this story and I can’t wait to read more!! Drew Sera gave us masterful piece of artwork!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something amazing to read!

Love between the lines?

Amy, romance writer that wants to delve into the bdsm/dark romance writing finds herself befriending a board member from a bdsm club, JP. JP also labeled a sadist, finds himself in unfamiliar territory while developing a friendship with Amy. Sam her PA does not pick on anything wrong with and encourages her to find more information and to write the book.
But will the book bring more to Amy 's life than she wanted?
With an HEA. If you have read Drew Sera's books this one will be just as wonderful. Have fun, I did...

I got invested and pulled into this book from the start.
I really liked the cast of characters.
Amy the sweet romance author with some kink fantasies.
Samantha is her PA,who’s devoted to her work wise and personally,smart mouthed and funny.
J.P. the sadist and romantic.
What a great combination they are!
I loved seeing a glimpse into the life of an author and their book events.
I enjoyed very much seeing the relationship of Amy and J.P. grow and develop.
It was done very well going from texting and building up from their.
I loved how J.P. was so willing to help Amy and how after getting to know her his feeling grew and he became protective of her.
Between the lines was sweet and asa the bond between Amy and J.P the story starting to get more sexy then deliciously dirty.
It was written very well!
With great care for the readers to get to know the H and h and how everything developed at a steady pace.
Wow and that ending was spectacular!

Oh my lord is what I was thinking at the end of this story. Now I know why it was hard for others to write their review without giving away anything. Whether your familiar with Drew Sera’s work or not you need this newest romance release in your life, it will keep you entertained from the start to the epic ending. You can’t help but fall in love with Amy “Princess” and J.P. “Romantic Sadist” character as you follow their journey and watch as their relationship grows. This just had it all romance, suspense, BSDM and sizzling scenes. But the ending is where it will get you and leave you wanting more of this authors flawless writing.

JP is a Dom that answers Amy’s questions about the BDSM lifestyle. He mentors her and is so sweet to her that you can’t wait to see if they get together. Amy has always had desires that intrigued her, but she has been hurt by a husband that left her over them. Is JP the answer to her prayers?

Read this book! I absolutely loved it and did not see the twist coming! If you are a fan of Drew Sera, you won’t want to miss this story!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ big stars!
I loved everything about this book! From start to finish, I was hooked! Amy is a romance author looking to write dark romance. She spent time researching the genre. Then she meets JP. An alpha that she never thought she would have an interest in. I love how there relationship develops.
You can’t forget Samantha!! Amy’s quirky assistant. She also brings life to the story. I love giving reviews, but I never like to give much away. This is a must read by talented Drew Sera! Go now and get your copy!!!!!

It is a good book I liked the mystery aspect of it but somehow I cannot connect with J.P.'s character. I really don't know why.

I only gave 4 stars because I felt that the ending was a bit rushed. I was looking forward on how they would interact when they see each other but it turned out flat.

Drew Sera writes well but I'm not into her style. There were too much repetitive details that irked me a bit. (Vanilla Coke say aye!)

Drew Sera has to be one of the best Romance/Kinky Author to date; only she can write a story like no one else. Her readers become invested with her characters and she always leaves you wanting more. This book will keep you enthralled from page one. The story of a Romance Writer who tries her hand by writing a BDSM book and the day to day tasks she and her PA do to promote her books and her fan base. She finds a mentor and friend in JP who is guiding her into the BDSM world as she is writing her new book they both find that they are becoming more than friends and are starting to fall in love as JP takes Amy on her Submissive journey as only a Dom can do. The ending will blow you away have you screaming, yelling, asking questions as we find ourselves drawn to Irons and find out that JP who Drew makes you like only to find out he is really PAUL!!!, and his muse that he is obsessed with is Anthony Graves. OMG!!!!! Now the reader is left fearing for Amy and asking what comes next. This book is a must read. Drew Sera has a way to draw her readers in as only she can. Bravo Drew, well done!!!

It’s always a joy to read one of Drew Sera’s books. The start of this book seemed a little different but I was soon so into all the phone texts and late night phone calls.
I’m still not sure how she could change my not so loving feelings for a character to absolutely love him. (Wish I could write more)
Ok, this story is about Amy, an author, who is curious of bonding and maybe some other stuff in the BDSM world. Her husband told her she was a freak and left her, when she asked if they could try a little. His loss! And then....

Holy shitballs! Drew has written another stunner of a book. I was drawn into the book from the the first chapter and didn't stop till the last chapter. The romance between Amy and J.P. builds from innocent to hawt. There is an underlying intrigue that builds as well. I post no spoiler reviews, so if you want to know more, get the book!
