Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

Come Home Again is a sweet second chance romance. Nate thankfully is a likeable hero. He is not arrogant or OTT confident. He is reserved, patience and knows when to grovel.

The story/ plot is interesting. I like the writing style. The flow of the story is good and consistence. Enough to make me onterested.
Since this is my first read from Miss Malone, I have to say, I am quite excited to look for her next book.

The chemistry is nicely done. Not OTT push and pull but hot enough to ship these two to HEA.

Overall a very good book.

Come Home Again was the first book in Nana Malone’s Donovan series.

Delilah Donovan was a successful fixer. She was the go to in her firm for celebrities that needed a serious image make over. She turned the worst of situations into the best images. She was beautiful, smart and always bringing home strays. Unfortunately that meant she was given the worst projects and she was ready for the fun jobs working with corporate images versus celebrity bad boys. Enter Nate Williams.

Nate was the new interim CEO for a gaming firm to help out his best friend until he could take the reins again. As such, Nate was an unknown and needed an image boost. He was a private person so he wasn’t looking forward to it but he’d do anything for his best friend.

The storyline was multi-faceted. The base of the storyline was the relationship between Delilah and Nate. Unbeknownst to rest of the players, Nate and Delilah had history but Nate had vanished into thin air seven years ago. The storyline meshed past and present. They were working together but had obvious trust issues. Of course the chemistry was off the charts so there was that. Malone also created a storyline around Nate’s new company and the issues within, creating a suspenseful vibe. And lastly, Malone built up the internal challenges within Delilah’s firm and the tumultuous relationship with her douche boss. Ultimately all storylines merged into one.

I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I also loved the supporting characters with Lach and Willow as my favorites. I do however wish that Malone would have detailed the Donovan’s better. There were brief cameos but no specific details other than they were present. I craved a better set up for the series. Additionally, there were editing errors and a few inconsistent / conflicting details.

Otherwise, it was a quick and entertaining read. Next up is MIA Donovan, but hopefully Lach, Willow and possibly Chase will get stories as well.

Delilah Donovan is like many young professional women. She's struggling to get the recognition and respect that she has worked so hard for professionally but has allowed all of her personal needs to fall by the wayside. It doesn't help that the one man that she fell in love with as a teenager still holds a large part of her heart that she isn't able to turn over to anyone else. At the moment Delilah's life is at it's bussiest a specter from her past walks in and turns her world upside down.

Nate is just as shocked as Delilah when the person hired to curate and manage his public image is the the girl he fell in love with grown into a beautiful and confident woman. Nate has used all of his technical abilities to bury his past and create a new person that doesn't appear to carry the baggage of an abused and traumatized childhood. Even after being rescued by Delilah's family, Nate could never feel worthy enough of the wonderful family that was gifted to him. Now, Nate's decision to run instead of staying and trusting in the love and support of his new family, is coming back for him to face. Nate has made a lot of wrong choices trying to do the right thing for the people he cares about. Now he has to decide if he can take the risk of being honest and asking for the help and support that he felt that he never had even when it was right there for him to take.

COME HOME AGAIN is yet another thoroughly enjoyable interracial romance by Nana Malone. The story moves at a very steady pace, the circumstances and character behaviors all make sense, and the attraction and level of steaminess between Nate and Delilah are nicely done. The ending wraps up nicely and completely. With twelve Donovan siblings I am looking forward to enjoying many more books in this series. I listened to the audio version of this one and the narrator, Eva Christensen, did a great job of drawing me in. Her performance in creating different voices for the characters was very enjoyable. I look forward to listening to the next in THE DONOVANS series LOVE REALITY soon. If you are looking for interracial romances that are sensual but not erotic I highly recommend trying a Nana Malone book. She knows how to give good steam without veering into raunchy along with providing an enjoyable story. This one will be added to my favorite reads list!

Come Home Again is a sweet and sexy second chance romance.

Delilah and Nate were once like family. Her family took him in off the streets and gave him a home. Delilah was his champion and his rock, until the day he walked (ran) away and never looked back, never contacted them again. She and her family looked for him for a long time until they finally gave up when it became clear he didn't want to be found. When he walks into her company as her newest client, she knows she's in trouble. Because she can't work for the man she still loves, and yet, if she doesn't, her chances of becoming a junior partner at her firm are nil.

I really liked Come Home Again, especially Delilah. She's smart, she's strong, and has a huge, genuine heart. Nate was a little harder for me to connect to at first, because it was obvious he had hurt Delilah and wouldn't explain himself to her, or trust her. But, once he opened up and showed his vulnerabilities, I kinda fell for him. They share a really strong connection, both emotionally and physically, especially emotionally. I loved seeing them get their second chance and now am fully in love with the whole Donovan crew!

If second chances are your jam, then 1-click Come Home Again, you won't regret it.

Nana Malone has done it again with an amazing book! She has the ability to suck a reader in from the beginning of the book and not let you go until the end. She has a way of writing her characters that truly make them believable. They are just like people you know in real life. They are flawed, strong and believable. I loved that she did not rush the happily ever after. She has again left me wanting more of her stories!

I loved this book! Delilah ‘Dee’ Donovan is a feisty woman who just does and says it all the way you want her to. She’s not someone who doesn’t stand up for herself. When I grow up I want to be Delilah or at least Willow, her assistant.

Handling PR for the famous and sometimes ‘infamous’ (i.e., D list celebrities, egads, worse than B list) presents exciting challenges that, with Willow’s assistance (who also is her wonderful supplier of Kit Kat chocolate bars, her drug of choice), has helped her boss, Jake, keep Park & Associates in high demand.

So, helping a man like Chase Manning, co-owner and CEO of Synth Games, should be a cinch, right? Ha, even in the world of romance novels, to get to a possible HEA, your story characters have to slog through a boatload of crap.

Chase Manning voluntarily checks himself into a rehab clinic, and it’s his interim CEO Dee has to help sort through the muck and mire and scrutiny from the media and the eyes of the world, at large. And don’t make the mistake of thinking Dee is not up for this challenge, because she is ready to show her boss she has the goods and talent to pull this next ‘job’ off and be made junior partner – except for the HUGE fly in the ointment, which is the new CEO, Nate Williams, the man who broke her 16-year-old heart a long time ago.

That’s the crux of it. The characters are believable and likeable in this book. To me, this book never faltered. I enjoyed ‘listening’ to everyone, even the ‘creeps,’ and believe me there are some obvious and some not-so-obvious creeps. But then, every book needs a ‘snake oil salesman’ character type. In that way, our heroes’ flaws are not as bad as they look.

Nana Malone did a great job with Nate and Dee, and this is an author I will always be on the look out for, an author worth remembering.

I have come to love most of Nana's books but this one was not a love book for me. It was a cool like. I did enjoy the backstories of the Donovans and how it all related to Nate and Delilah. I just felt that things were a bit anticlimactic. There were good things but for the most part things just stayed neutral.

Nana Malone's motto should be: To weather the storm, strength of character has to be the norm. The one constant in Ms. Malone's work is that her characters tend to sell them self's short. Come Home Again centers around a man trying to outrun his past and a woman forced to face hers. Dee and Nate have a past that is heartbreaking, mysterious and at times even tragic, but until they face it, they will be haunted by it. If emotional is what you seek look no further than the sensitive, sensual and sensational, Nana Malone.

I have received this book in advance from the author for an honest review.
I have read several Nana Malone books and actually started off with her Stiletto series with a book club.. Then I read more..I have been hooked.. This book does not disappoint and even though I have given most of her books a 5 star rating, this is why.. Her stories are real, they capture your attention from the start, the writing style makes you keep wanting to read more.. I think about the story even after I'm done reading for the day or after I'm done with the book! I can picture the story just by her description.. Easily these books can be made into something more on different genres of entertainment- movies, tv shows alike.. Now About this story- if you like the TV show scandal, you'll LOVE this book... It kind of has the same vibe in regards to Delilah being the fixer without the whole being the chick on the side thing.. ;-)
Delilah and Nate... AHHHH they are hot like fire from day one! What I like is they meet, they feel that chemistry and connection but given circumstances Nate disappears and they both Live.. But they don't become alive until they cross paths again.. Now they are older, wiser, sexier as hell and that passion, Lord some of those scenes had me panting! Okay so the fact that they have a past was good and her family- The Donovan's they were adorable! It's like watching one of those lifetime movies where a family takes in children and gives them a better chance at life than what they had before and those kids do well and return home! The way that the parents welcomed Nate back was amazing and therapeutic for Nate. It helped him to see no matter how screwed up his biological, family was.. He still had a family he could call his own. A home he could come back to. Very powerful lessons about love, forgiveness and unconditional acceptance. They- Nate and Delilah were dealing with a whole bunch of enemies and they were all handled well! I loved it! nothing too crazy but Karma is a b**ch all the same! This is a great read and I'm assuming a start of a series, if so, I look forward to more! Looking for a good read.. This is one!

This is the first book in the Donovans series. I think it was a great start. Delilah Donovan is a fixer, she always had a way with taking care of everything and everyone. When she first met Nate Williams he was in a dark alley badly beaten. It was love at first sight. Her family took him in but his past came back to haunt him and he left the only family he ever really known. It broke Delilah's heart.

Fast forward she is brought in to fix the CEO and Acting CEO's life of Synth, she comes face to face with the man who broke her heart. Can she put her feeling aside and help the only man she has ever loved.

I love the bad boy description of Nate, I can really see him riding that motor cycle.

There is some really hot sex scenes and some heartfelt moments that made me tear up. When you grow up feeling like you don't deserve love and when you finally realize that you do it is such a beautiful thing. Looking forward to more of the Donovans!!!

I absolutely loved Delilah and Nate's story! This story was hot and smoking and it is a Must Read! Once again Nana Malone dies her thing. Chemistry oozes from the pages and you will not be able to put the book down until you have finished the entire story. Thank you as always Nana for continuing to share your gift of writing the Dopest and areal Life Stories. No Spoilers here... Get the book!!!

Come Home Again is one the best second chance romance books I have ever read. It is the story of Delilah Donovan, a celebrity fixer, who just so happens to be gorgeous, sassy, has a serious independent shriek, and is on her way to making junior partner, and Nathaniel "Nate" Williams, a super smart and sexy tech genius. Delilah has been assigned to work on the case of a new client, Chase, the CEO of Synth Games, but to Delilah's great surprise, Nate, a blast from her past, walks into the room, and completely upsets her world. Nate, who is being assigned as the interim CEO of Synth Games, desperately needs her help with an image makeover, but the last time Delilah saw Nate, it was her 16th birthday and he just up and disappeared from her life without a word. Now Nate desperately needs her help to pull off this CEO appointment in order to help his friend Chase out, but after seven years of separation Delilah is not feeling so helpful.

Let me tell you, once Delilah and Nate reconnect or rather come back into each other's orbit, after seven years of separation, Come Home Again becomes an absolute must read, and the great thing about that is that this happens almost immediately!! The chemistry and sexual tension between these two jumps off the pages at you. These two are meant to be together, and all while you are reading the story, you are rooting for them to work everything out, so that they can have their happily ever after, because they deserve it. There are so many obstacles that the two of them must overcome before they can reach the light at the end of the tunnel, and that includes Delilah helping Nate maintain control of the company, as well as them working out their past, but their journey is one that will keep you engrossed until the end, and then you will still want more. I absolutely love Delilah and Nate.

Come Home Again is a well written second chance romance, and is a great start to the beginning of this absolutely wonderful series about a fantastic family by the name of Donovan. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

4.5 Stars!
Hands down my favorite Nana Malone book. I really enjoyed this second chance romance.
Delilah was a heroine who had deep empathy because she had awesome parents. She bas a really good upbringing so I can see why her teen heart bled for young Nate!

Nate’s backstory made me like him even more because he had been through so much and decided he didn’t want his past to impact his new family. He made a painful decision but now is ready to win back the girl he left behind.

What made this story stand out was that the author took her time to build the characters and re-established their bond when they reunited. I felt this was her most developed plot and characters or at least the ones I connected with. The love story was sweet and Nate reconciling his past with his foster parents was the most touching aspect for me.

Loved this one

I'd never heard of Nana Malone, and I grabbed this book for free from Amazon. When I finally opened it to give it a go, I didn't put it down for a few hours - and that was only to feed the kids and to walk the dog - after that, I was straight back to it.

Firstly, I really enjoyed the dynamics of the adoptive and foster family. I haven't read many books in that vein that deal with it in this kind of way.

Secondly, the characters were top notch. Delilah Donovan is a woman striving to be the best she can possibly be, professionally, yet her own personal life is neglected. As a 'fixer' she must be available to her clients pretty much 24/7, which leaves her little time to herself. She's aiming for promotion within the company as she knows she's damn good at her job, then Nate walks into the office.

Nate Williams, a blast from the past - one she'd never expected to see again. He was her first love when her parents took him into their home, for him to disappear without a word and trace - is her new client. yeah, like that isn't going to cause issues at all . . .

I have to admit, it wasn't until I added the book to my shelves over on Goodreads that I realised this book was about an interacial couple. I only mention it simply because it was never made an issue by Malone as she concentrated on the story rather than bring any kind of politics into her writing. I applaud this and with the Donovan family having 12 siblings, I can't wait to read more about them. In fact, I want them to adopt me too.

The story is a good pace and isn't saturated with unnecessary sex scenes that do absolutely nothing to enhance the story. In fact these scenes are essential to the story as they allow Nate and Delilah rediscover each other, and what starts as hesitant and nervous as Delilah tries to remain professional soon becomes steamy and sensual, perfect for these characters.

The story and characters are believeable and relateable, and if Malone's other books are this well written, I may have just found a new author to stalk - er, I mean enjoy!

I really loved this book 'Come Home Again' and the way the author jumps right into the story and keeps the story moving right along. Nana gives you more information right when the reader needs it; the suspense and emotions were definitely felt by this reader.

The characters Delilah and Nathaniel, knew each other well but had not seen each other in 7 years. Delilah had always taken care of Nate and helped him when he needed it. Nate had been attracted to her and cared for Delia but she was only 16 at the time. It was fun to watch these two not let on in front of the others that they knew each other as they tried to squash their feelings for each other.

"Oh. Hell. No. Her heart hammered, and her lungs refused to operate properly. This is not happening to me. Not him. Anyone but him."

"Knees locked, muscles bunched, teeth clenched, Nate Williams' whole body tensed. His mind refused to believe the sight in front of him. Delilah. His Delilah."

"Something about Nate's eyes had spoken to her. He was hers to save, and she wasn't letting him go."

"Slowly, as if he had all the time in the world, he devoured her lips. His tongue dipped playfully into her mouth and artfully wove lust and bliss and need around her so tight, nothing could have penetrated it."

I could go on and on with more quotes, but trust me, this book is a great read and the author has a wonderful way with the English language. The story had great flow and was difficult to put down.

I will be reading more of Nana Malone's novels!

Delilah thought she'd never see Nate again, let alone him walk in to a meeting she was having with a new client. There he was in the flesh and he looked good. He had left her family seven years ago and she had always wondered and worried about what had happened to him.

Nate didn't expect to see Delilah at the meeting he was having with Chase and the fixers. Nate was just there to be CEO while Chase was away and that was it. Having Delilah there though was a unexpected plus. She hadn't been far from his thoughts while he had been gone. She was the reason he left, he had to keep her and the family that took him in safe and his leaving was the only thing that was going to ensure that.

Now that they are back in the same space its difficult for him to deny his attraction to her, and for her to deny that she still loves him the way she did then.

I enjoyed watching Delilah fight her feelings but not have the strength to stay away from him. It was refreshing to see a man go after what he wanted and not be afraid to do so. He wanted her and he had his second chance to do so. Easy and fun read that I'm sure you will enjoy as well!!

Love Reality is an exquisite...breathtaking new adult romance and the second book in the The Donovan’s Series by Nana Malone.

Ryan is one hot tall drink of water. Ryan is the writer of 'The Single Guy" an article to help guys out in the dating world. Even though some of his knowledge is sometimes questionable about woman, he never lacks for comfort. I live for Ryan's quirkiness this hero kept me smiling from page to page.

Mia is ferocious when needed. Mia has also insecurities left from when her parents abandon her along with a bad break-up with her ex, it’s no wonder she is having a time figuring out what Ryan pulls from her besides her angry side. I love Mia, the girl has my heart by its string.

I enjoyed that Ms. Malone shared on both Mia and Ryan’s talents equally, as well as giving them both time to work with what they brought out in each other as well as their job and family dynamics. The supporting characters just added to the richness of the plot. Larissa had me laughing with her moxi. Read More. . . http://www.romanceswithalittlekick.co...

Come Home Again, is a great second chance at love romance novel. Delilah Donovan is living her life and have concentrated all her energy on making junior partner and never expected for Nate Williams to walk back into her life. After her initial shock and being totally against reconnecting once Delilah gives in the story totally took off. This story is a total must read, there is intense and large amounts of sexual chemistry and boy there are obstacles ahead of them. But rest assured that while reading this story you are most certainly there rooting for these two to find their happily ever after. It is an absolute well thought out, well written and so engrossing that you never want the story to end. I totally recommend that you read this book and boy I can’t wait for the rest of the series. Great job Nana Malone and I am definitely hooked.

This book starts the Donovan Series off with a bang. Delilah Donovan is a celebrity fixer and one of the best. She claimed she could fix any mess, that is until she came in contact with Nate Williams. He was the one man who broke her heart. The last time she saw him was when she was sixteen. The chemistry between them is off the charts Lots of drama and suspense as they attempt a second chance at love. Well written with complex characters and a page turning story line. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

I read this as an audiobook. I loved the narrator. I liked the book ok. If I had been reading on my kindle it might have been a DNF. I got frustrated with the no communication between the two main characters. It just didn’t seem real to me. I almost gave up when she let him kiss her in the elevator. Eva Christensen is a great narrator, she kept me reading this book.

Nana Malone is a good story-teller. She weaved a good tale in this book and managed to talk about the tech stuff without being esoteric. My only problem - and it's a personal peeve - is that the MCs are a little young for my liking. But it is tagged as a new adult genre so I did go into it aware of that. The sex scenes were steamy but thankfully, not erotic.

Wished the editing had been better.

I really enjoyed this book, but I felt like that Michael character really didn't get his just desserts, I wanted Delilah to get him. I also loved how Nate was able to let it all go & throw it in Trent's face.
