This was actually really interesting and eye-opening. However, I would love an updated version where the author doesn't view the woman/wife as someone who "watches soap operas and eats chocolate all day." A lot has changed culturally since this was published, and I would like to see the same arguments spun with women as working, being professional, and pulling their own weight in the household. I am not sure the same arguments would hold.

Not necessarily this book is bad, but I think more old fashioned. Compared to 90s, feminine and masculine roles changed a lot and men are more feminine and do not have masculine pressure that much in 21st century. Although I was able to get into men psychology deeply and had a better understanding of their behavior. Overall I feel like it improved my empathy towards the behavior of men around me. I feel like a lot of relationship books have female favoritism and this book simplifies men behavior

Interesting to see the way that men and women think and react so differently. I was able to identify quickly with things that have happened in my relationships and what I see happening in others. I believe this to be a good read for anyone that is truly open with their desire to attempt to be understanding and strive for what is best for both people in a relationship to make it as loving as possible on a multitude of levels.
