I really loved this story. Alyssa and Brett are just so broken, it seems impossible that they could ever form a functional relationship, let alone together.

Once again, the author has really done a good job of giving the characters depth and feelings. I could feel the angst rolling off the pages. However, once again the ending felt slightly rushed and at odds with the detail of the rest of the book.

I enjoyed reading the second novel in this trilogy. This story follows Alyssa and Brett, who are Nikki and Dane's best friends from Book 1. Alyssa and Brett both have issues from how they've been treated by others in the past. Despite this, they take a chance at love and do a lot of healing and soul-searching along the way. I loved the banter between the characters because it felt like what real people would say to each other. This book was a quick read that kept me turning pages.

I really enjoyed this book. I found Alyssa to be very relatable. She's not the stereotypical gorgeous, perfect girl that most books have. She faces weight problems, and along with other real world issues. Her and Brett's story is gripping and will keep you on your toes. I honestly liked this one more then the first book!

I really enjoyed reading this story line all the ups downs and fears Nikki had and the sadness they both were dealing with from terrible childhoods .... Amazing read
