Animal Graph is the third story from dystopian author M. Black (Simulation, Exotiqa, Animal Graph). Her novels are branded Enter Tomorrow with a focus on robots, artificial intelligence, simulations, wildlife, grafting, cloning, illusions, or futuristic technology. This novel came to her in a dream. Set in the Amazonian jungles of South America, M.Black weaves an action-packed tale in this original YA Amazonian Eco-Fic Dystopian set forty-two years after a nuclear war. Jin—a prisoner of King Borran—and Adan—another Graphed—have to fight for their survival in a utopia gone wrong. In a world where animal cells and neural tissue have been grafted into humans, and humans are connected by brain waves to chosen animals from the Amazon, will Jin and Adan survive? Will they ever find their Animal Graph counterparts? Can the Earth find harmony with humanity and the animals or will those wanting to destroy it all win? Socially relevant, dark and sexy, with themes that hang on environmental concerns and animal welfare…ENTER TOMORROW with ANIMAL GRAPH. A novel along the lines of Hunger Games meets X-Men. If you’re a fan of The Treemakers, The Sowing, Simulation, Age of Order, A Brave New World or A Canticle for Leibowitz, you may also enjoy this novel.

Non stop action. Loyalty, friendship are the themes as they seek to rescue their friends who were captured in the last book. I received an ARC copy of this book; this is my honest opinion.
Amazing Story filled with hope The outcasts rescue Jin’s mother from book 2 but at the expense of some of their friends who get captured. The new mission in this 3rd book is to find and rescue their friends, who are held at the Experiment Facility in the jungles of the Amazon. A very engaging and suspenseful read. Along the way they discover there is more going on in this land run by the evil King Borran. They also learn more about themselves and their new graphed selves after being graphed with animal tissue and cells. Some people were forcibly graphed as experiments and others found ways to be graphed to help themselves survive this brutal lifestyle they are forced to live in. This is a very gripping story, you worry and wonder about all of the characters but you just cannot put the book down. Set in a futuristic South America after a nuclear war. A story of survival and hope for a better future, to right the wrongs of the dictatorship under the rule of a greedy king that rules the nation. Looking forward to read the next installment in the series. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.
I am going to preface all of my reviews for the books in the series by saying that I wish I would have reviewed each book as I read it; instead, I kept reading right on through & now I don't remember exactly where each book ended. Regardless, I loved the whole series! Really, this story is SO intriguing to me! The characters are totally unique, yet relatable. I think Ms Blackwelder (M. Black) did an amazing job of blending creativity with reality as she developed this dystopian world & the plots. I mentioned in my review for book 2 Graph Secrets that I was challenged by the graphic description of violence toward an animal character and have to say that this third book posed a similar challenge for me. The descriptions were not as detailed, yet more prevalent. I think perhaps the combination of animals & human characters I'd come to care about which encountered violent ends made this the most difficult installment for me to read. This book weighed heavily on me with the amount of loss and grief that the main characters experienced. Still, their strength & determination kept them going & fighting. It definitely compelled me to dive into the next book! I appreciate how each installment wraps up one of the main points in the overall storyline, yet leaves enough major sub-plots unresolved to pull me along to the next segment. Like reading the next part is a given; there's not even a question of whether I'll continue!
I continue to be impressed with M Black's series, Animal Graphs. Book three is no exception to the enjoyment I have had with the first two books (I am only up to Book 3 so far).
Black takes many concepts and weaves them together, in the same way her characters are woven and assembled. The series has been appropriately compared to The Hunger Games, which was a classroom favorite of mine.
I gladly enjoy these books as an adult reader, and would happily share them with anyone who loves dystopian fiction.
The saga continues but is not yet finished, moving at a fairly steady pace. You will want to read the first two books in order before reading this, the third in the series. Perhaps M. Black will eventually publish the series in one volume so one doesn't have to hunt around for the next book.
I read a free copy, but this is a voluntary review and my own opinion.
Adan and Jin want nothing more than rescuing their friends from captivity. They just have to contend with Borran and his soldiers chasing after them. Something is very wrong with the animals in the jungle yet nobody is sure what it is. Can they rescue their friends? Can Borran be stopped? Your answers await you in Graph Lies.
