I am going to preface all of my reviews for the books in the series by saying that I wish I would have reviewed each book as I read it; instead, I kept reading right on through & now I don't remember exactly where each book ended. Regardless, I loved the whole series! WOW! Now, that's the part of the story I was hoping for! In this fourth book of the series, we see some payoff for all the struggles and hardships our main characters have endured and it is greatly welcomed, in my opinion. I was left feeling hopeful for the overall outcome of the series while expecting several more trials before we get there, of course, or the story would have ended here! I loved how the characters continued to develop and their relationships strengthened. I appreciate how Ms Blackwelder (M. Black) did some foreshadowing here with a couple members of the group and set things up to manifest in later books - that always inspires me when authors do that, as I love that "ah ha" feeling when something I'd thought previously was a clue of some kind actually gets revealed. Of course, that also plays into my intrigue & desire to complete a story, so this installment definitely did not disappoint.
This is book 4 in the Animal Graph series. It focuses strongly on the likely friendships formed. Jin wants to help anyone who is suffering under Borran’s rule. But at what cost? How well does she know her friends? Who is the boy that Jin has rescued along their travels? Who is Sarge? Are they all as innocent as they seem in this war against Borran? You will never see the twist coming. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
Non stop action. I think each book gets better. Jin & Adan and their friends stay true to their ideals and embark on several rescue missions to save friends and relatives. Borran continues to try to capture them. A new threat, the Relic, appear. They want to wipe out all Graphs, leaving only “pure” humans. A surprise twist at the end sets the stage for the next book. I received an ARC copy of this book; this is my honest opinion.
Jin is trying to find a way to stop Borran and his Graph experiments for good. Just that finding a plan of attack isn't so easy on the run. Jin's trust isn't easily earned but she feels like someone in the group is hiding something very big. Can Borran be stopped? Who doesn't belong in the group? Just who is Relic? Your answers await you in Graph Wars.

The saga continues at the same fast pace with two books left to go. Cannot say more or will risk spoilers. This was a free book and this voluntary review is strictly my own opinion.
