“A super sexy female version of Jack Reacher—in space!” —some random guy on Twitter.
Note: Max likes to cuss, if that kind of thing bothers you, these aren't the driods you're looking for.

The Orion Conspiracy Blade of Vengeance The Zero Code Edge of the Abyss Siege on Star Cruise 239 Phantom Corps
In "Phantom Corps," the sixth installment of Tripp Ellis' Max Mars series, the beautiful and deadly protagonist is dying. She has reached her shelf life. Engineered to be fast healing and nearly invulnerable by her creator, the mysterious Doctor Tor, her humanity is slipping away with every day she continues to survive. Welcome to the real world, right? But Mars' makeup, her DNA, was bolstered to make her a super soldier. She knew she would continue until she couldn't. Tor had built in an end date to her genetic makeup and those he also created. In addition, Mars stumbles across her arch nemesis Silas Rage, another of Tor's soldiers. She's been tracking him since the beginning, highly intent on ending his life. She blames him for Tor's death. In Phantom, Ellis delves more deeply into Mars motivations and personality and answers a lot of the questions about her origins. It's a definite must-read for Ellis fans and one of the best in the series. Plot-wise this doesn't disappoint.
I suspect this will only be a turning point; as so many people like me are having such fun with this series it really should continue. This one ties up a lot of loose ends and creates some new ones that potentially need to be pulled. Highly recommend this very light space opera.
I love these Max Mars books. I find them entertaining. If you haven’t read the first five books in the series I recommend going back and starting at the beginning. I eagerly await book seven.
Love the spunky, sometimes blood thirsty Max mars. Going from one problem to another, killing everyone along the way and making some new friends. My kind of ass kicking girl.
Reads like an old time comic book. I expected to see WHAMS and POWS written into the text. A lot of the story seemed over the top moving into characature land.
