A well-presented introduction to panic/anxiety disorders, what they are, and best-practices in recovery. Bronwyn is a former sufferer of panic disorder & agoraphobia who recovered with the use of meditation and mindfulness techniques before going on to have a successful career running workshops and counselling other sufferers. The book discusses anxiety disorders and their effects, as well as causes and the psychology behind it all. A broad array of therapies are explained, and there are a variety of case studies detailing experiences had before/during/after recovery.

As someone who has become familiar with elevated anxiety and panic in the last few years, I felt as though I got quite a lot out of this book. Since reading it, I've begun to implement meditation and cognitive behaviour therapy in my own life with promising results. An informative and empowering read.
