Although the story content was good, I find it highly distracting when words are misspelled, used in the wrong context, and inappropriate punctuation is used or not used. You need to get better proofreaders instead of using some one that must be in the third grade. My fifth grade grandchild can do much better than that!!
Amish stories lacked depth, and left me wanting more.
The basic story lines were good, but could have been expanded upon to give them more depth and interest. I would've enjoyed more details about the lifestyle of the characters in the stories. Sometimes it was hard to follow the time lines in the stories: whether it was the same day, or a day or a week later (or sometimes earlier). The most distracting element in all of these books was the lack of editing!! Quite often there would be horrible grammatical errors, such as the misuse of the words to, too, or two. Several times the names of the characters were switched, and one would be used in place of another. This would take my mind completely off of the story and take away from the enjoyment of the story. I would not read stories from this author again, nor would I recommend her books to other readers. I am sorry to be so harsh. I could see so much potential in these stories that was never realized.
