📚Tropical Tiger Spy
So many errors, typos and dialog problems they could fill a book.
Oh wait! They did fill a book.
This Book.
Missing words and other problems.
Story is very jumpy. Amatuer writing.
Add to that, the characters are odd. I mean Really Odd
I have put the whole thing down until I feel like putting up with it again.
It was truly torture, but I managed to get through this one.
All are going into my 'reject' shelves.
The writing was so bad that I am having trouble describing just how horrendous the editing is.
How inadequately it is written.
Think of a 4th grader writing an adult book who has no writing talent and the paper never got corrected, but somehow got published as a book.

Tropical Tiger Spy
When I first started reading, I wasn’t sure who Tony was investigating. I really liked Amber and how strong she is. Tony was an enigma at first. I wasn’t sure what to think of him. Amber and Tony worked great together. Scarlett and the other shifters at Shifting Sands are unusual, and I hope we learn more about them as the series continues. This book has mysteries and intrigues that ended in the wonderful HEA way that Zoe’s books always end.
Tropical Wounded Wolf
This is the 2nd book in the series. This series is for adults only due to the steamy content. I think you want to read the books in order if you do not like when events are mentioned that you haven’t read yet. Also it helps you know the staff at the resort better!
Mary and Neal both have their fears. They are better able to get over them with each other. This book felt different than others I’ve read, but I’m not sure if I was having an off day or if I didn’t connect with the characters as much in this book. I still enjoyed the book, but I was missing something that I can’t put my finger on.

This is the 3rd book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. It is about 178 pages long. While it is not mandatory to read the books in order, I think you will enjoy them more if you do!
This is Tex’s story which I love because I like the idea of everyone there finding their mates. This book was full of intrigue and mystery. The hints along the way made me think…I wonder…and I was right. I already like Tex from previous books, but no Magnolia in this book. His friends are a hoot! I really liked Laura even though she did give Tex a hard time for a while. I can’t wait to read more of this series!
I highly recommend this book to any shifter fan who loves HEA romance especially if you already enjoy reading Zoe’s work! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!!

This is the 4th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content and violence. It isn’t mandatory to read them in order, but I highly recommend you do because this story continues from the end of book 3. This book is about 139 pages long.
This is Jenny’s story who is the twin sister to Laura from the last story. Jenny is a new shifter and is having a hard time with controlling everything. She feels like her life is out of control, and then she finds out Travis is her mate. Jenny has a lot to work through and is overwhelmed. Their adventure has plenty of action and romance. A lynx and an otter make for a great story.
Tropical Dragon Diver
This is the 5th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content. While not mandatory, I highly recommend reading the whole series in order because the characters are so much better if you know everything!
This is Bastian’s story, and wow, you learn so much about him that you had no idea about! I don’t want to ruin anything, but you have to read it to find out. Saina doesn’t trust herself because of what she is. I love how them loving each other makes them stronger, and they don’t see it happening. Of course, there is a perfect mix of trouble and romance that seems to always come at Shifting Sands! Who knew a dragon and a mermaid could be a perfect for each other pair!
Tropical Panther's Penance
This is the 6th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. While it is not mandatory to read the series in order, you are missing out if you don’t read them all because it is so much better with character background and group dynamics!
This is Lydia and Wrench’s story! Lydia runs the spa, and she has been off island for a while. She returns and knows her mate is on the island. Wrench is new to the island from Jenny’s story or was it her twin’s story. Anyway, they are both from different worlds, and they are both thinking too much about what should be happening. There is trouble of course, but Lydia takes charge to solve it. There is some treachery, action, and romance. It was a great story that I couldn’t put down.
I highly recommend this book to any shifter fans who love lots of different shifters, a mixed paranormal world, HEA endings with just the right amount of action, adventure, and romance. I can’t wait to see what Zoe cooks up next!

⚡Amber Allen is a Rare Andean Mountain Cat of coarse how should she know, she was left on the church doorstep, she didn't even know she was a andean mountain cat let alone a rare one. But she grew up into a fine woman, it was scary at first but she handle it let. Going to college to learn about plants Amber had a green thumb so she worked at a local garden store in Lakefield. Her friend from college talked her into taking a well-deserved vacation which is really hard when you work in the garden store. Seem like she was in the plane forever sitting, then she was in a car forever, finally she got to the resort. It was so beautiful here and this man what a hunk, only shifters can come to the resort, goodness gracious there all heartthrobs. ***sigh**** oh my gosh what I wouldn't do to be in bed with him. Sure would be nice if my dry spell is over.
⚡Tony Lukin is a Siberian Tiger Shifter who works for the government, but if you find out he might have to kill you. He's been at the resort for a week and still didn't have any news that he needed and Scarlett the manager was dragging her feet too. Tony is looking for someone who knew Angelica Grayman, she is a Borneo Bay Cat. He knows he's wrong because he's supposed to be working but aw this beauty that he just saw he's gotta be with her. Oh yeah definitely be with her..

Ending up alone at the resort was not supposed to happen but her friend got sick and here Mary was all by herself. That not being stressful enough she realizes the man she see is her mate.
⚡Neal Byrne is a Rare Red Mane Wolf Shifter who was in the Military before he was caged for the past ten years in Beehag's zoo. He was shocked with high voltage electric currents if he went to his human form. Since he's been rescued be hasn't shifted once rejecting his wolf plus Neal couldn't leave the island not yet it was too scary. Then while he was doing the pool one day he saw her and took off running.
No way could he have a mate he's broken.

Hiding out for a week at Shifting Sands Resort, with the World Mr. Shifter Pageant was going to have some perk and assuming her sister's identity Laura thought she was safe in Costa Rica.. WRONG..
⚡Tex Williams is a Bear Shifter, he's also a bartender and loves every minute of it. The pageant was going to make everybody crazy but they would cope they might be running around everywhere but they'd make it. Something that he didn't believe in walk right in and ask for a drink. And then she ignored him. It didn't matter because he was going to protect her and then things happened to his Jenny.

3.5 Stars all up!!!
Book 1 - Tropical Tiger Spy - 2 Stars
I've read a few books from this author now and I can usually get past the shortness of the story, I'm not a fan of short books as I feel it leaves the world and characters a little underdeveloped for my tastes. However I've enjoyed quite a few of her books and generally continue with each series I've picked up.
This one wasn't too my liking, none of the characters were very likable. I think the H was to be a great Spy of some kind but to me he came across more bumbling and not very intelligent and for a tiger, not very alpha.
The h was ok and I liked at the end how she played a role in rescuing others but otherwise she was pretty unremarkable. The secondary characters were not very interesting and its only been a couple days and I'm struggling to remember them.
Not the worst book I've ever read of course but not the greatest.
Book 2 - Tropical wounded Wolf - 3.5 Stars
I read the first book in this series and found it wasn't really for me but seeing as how I received an ARC of Tropical Wounded Wolf, I felt I should give this series a second chance, glad I did as it was a major improvement on the first one.
The main characters were much more likable then there were in the first book, it felt like they were better developed and I actually quite liked Mary and how her confidence/bravery grew.
I really like H and my heart broke for him and what he suffered through.
I felt we got a lot more interaction with some of the secondary characters and I found them to be a lot more interesting and hope to see them featured in any future books!!
Nice amount of romance, action and adventure.

Book 3 - Tropical Bartender Bear - 4 Stars
This series is definitely getting better and better as it goes along for me.
Loved Tex in all his cowboy glory, he was totally swoon worthy, he was also a bit of a sweetheart.
Must admit it took me a little bit to warm to Laura after all her bad life choices but I got there in the end.
It was great going back to the resort with all the secondary characters we are slowly learning about. The owner/manager is definitely a mystery and I hope she eventually gets her own book.
This one had moments that tugged at the heart strings, a little bit of action/drama, some great steamy scenes and for me a surprise at the end, which I wont spoil. Even thought it could be read as a standalone quite easily I think you would get more enjoyment from starting at book one!

Book 1 - Tropical Tiger Spy - 2 Stars
I've read a few books from this author now and I can usually get past the shortness of the story, I'm not a fan of short books as I feel it leaves the world and characters a little underdeveloped for my tastes. However I've enjoyed quite a few of her books and generally continue with each series I've picked up.
This one wasn't too my liking, none of the characters were very likable. I think the H was to be a great Spy of some kind but to me he came across more bumbling and not very intelligent and for a tiger, not very alpha.
The h was ok and I liked at the end how she played a role in rescuing others but otherwise she was pretty unremarkable. The secondary characters were not very interesting and its only been a couple days and I'm struggling to remember them.
Not the worst book I've ever read of course but not the greatest.
Book 2 - Tropical wounded Wolf - 3.5 Stars
I read the first book in this series and found it wasn't really for me but seeing as how I received an ARC of Tropical Wounded Wolf, I felt I should give this series a second chance, glad I did as it was a major improvement on the first one.
The main characters were much more likable then there were in the first book, it felt like they were better developed and I actually quite liked Mary and how her confidence/bravery grew.
I really like H and my heart broke for him and what he suffered through.
I felt we got a lot more interaction with some of the secondary characters and I found them to be a lot more interesting and hope to see them featured in any future books!!
Nice amount of romance, action and adventure.

Book 3 - Tropical Bartender Bear - 4 Stars
This series is definitely getting better and better as it goes along for me.
Loved Tex in all his cowboy glory, he was totally swoon worthy, he was also a bit of a sweetheart.
Must admit it took me a little bit to warm to Laura after all her bad life choices but I got there in the end.
It was great going back to the resort with all the secondary characters we are slowly learning about. The owner/manager is definitely a mystery and I hope she eventually gets her own book.

Loved how Tony was a secret spy, looking to find the answers to the missing shifters. Loved how Amber accepted things as they came and when it came down to needing to help, she was a quick thinker. Great read!
Tropical Wounded Wolf Being scared of everything comes naturally to deer shifter, Mary North, but on vacation at the Shifting Sands Resort she becomes determined to overcome some of her fears. After escaping captivity, Neal Byrne is determined to stay at Shifting Sands resort to help the others and avoid his emotional scars that were created. Neither expected to find their mate. Will Mary be able to help Neal see he is worth being loved? Will Neal be able to help Mary overcome her fears and realize that despite the animal she harbors, she is brave?
Being a sucker for a Zoe Chant shifter book, this one hit the spot! Loved how this big "fearless" wolf shifter is so willing to put himself out there to help everyone except himself and how in the end he is determined to overcome his fears to help Mary overcome hers. Loved how when it came down to it Mary was able to overcome her fears and think strategically and didn't loose her cool! Excellent shifter book and another Zoe Chant hit!

One look at Laura and Tex knows she was meant for him, but he met her twin years before. Will they discover who is after the girls? Will Tex be able to win over Laura?
Loved Tex. Didn't blame Laura for her way of reacting to everything going on around her, but was proud of her for admitting who she was to Tex. I thought Tex was a big teddy bear and loved his character. Learning who the otter was, was awesome! Cannot wait for more from Zoe Chant!

Although I don't own this box set, I do own all three books individually and recommend them highly to anyone who enjoys beautifully written paranormal tales filled with danger, drama, action, adventure, and romance plus a little something extra. All the stories in this collection contain unique storylines infused with engaging characters and set in a tropical resort paradise but with a special twist - it's owned and run by shifters! You can find almost anything at the Shiftings Sands Resort, including love! In my opinion, this collection is one of Chant's more lighthearted series but will still tug at your heartstrings! Did I like this collection? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers. They're sweet and entertaining but still sexy! Each story in this collection is a standalone with no cliffhanger and can be read in any order, but why would you want to when you can get the first three in one convenient box set! A fourth book was recently released and I loved it just as much as the first three! And FYI, all Chant's books end with a wonderful happy ending. Will I read this author again! Of course! Just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained! Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Shifting Sands Resort is a great series with all the action, passion and adventure you expect from Zoe Chant. Loved these stories and all the quirky shifters who are part of it. If you are a PNR fan in general and a Zoe Chant fan in particular, grab this boxed set now.

She’s a shifter, but feels like a fish out of water, and he’s a spy looking into the disappearance of shifters from the resort. Together they unravel the mystery of both the disappearing shifters and Amber’s heritage and lay the basic groundwork for the rest of the series. We’re introduced to the other denizens of Shifting Sands Resort and just know that they all have an interesting tale to tell.

The Tropical series is typical Zoe Chant - tongue in cheek, but with some serious issues behind it. There’s a fair amount of mystery in the first book, and the books after it have the characters deal with the aftermath of kidnapping, torture and mistreatment, with the acknowledgement that it’s the heroes that can be traumatized as well. This is a shifter world full of sun and sand, but with corresponding shadow and darkness.
But this is Chant’s world of shifters, so while the darkness is there, the sunlight conquers and love prevails. It’s a fun series, and there’s a crossover with the Firefighter series included (one of my favorite series from Chant). It’s pure escapism set on a beautiful tropical island. Who wouldn’t want to visit a Club Med with a bunch of intriguing shifters?
But this is Chant’s world of shifters, so while the darkness is there, the sunlight conquers and love prevails. A nice 3 book introduction to the Shifting Sands Resort series. Shifting Sands is a resort island near Costa Rica that is for shifters only. The resort is full of shifter staff and run by a vigorously strict Scarlet. No one knows what kind of shifter she is but she's something special. There's something special about the power of the island too. The first books uncovers some shady horrors that go back as far as 50 years and as that story revolves we meet certain other shifters who are either the main characters or very important to the story lines of the other two books in this set. There are several more books available in this series.

Wouldn't Recommend
I only finished the first book which is the story about Tony and Amber but spent most of the time skimming the chapters. For me, the romance was nonexistent and felt forced. I'd really like to know what kind of shifter Scarlet is but am not interested enough to read more books. The build up to the climax was sudden and Tony's profession wasn't believable by action or by statement. It was a wonder to me why the author chose it for this book. The story is cute and everything is wrapped up nicely at the end so not many questions left unanswered.

There’s nothing like visiting a vacation resort in Costa Rica ! During a travel restriction pandemic in real life, the only way I can enjoy these type of trips is through books. The Shifting Sands Resort is a Shifter friendly resort, but there’s more to this resort, especially when missing guests are found in a different part of the island near the resort. Each story focuses on different characters finding their fated mate, but there are challenges that each couple must face. This is pure escapism and I’m loving Zoe Chant’s writing style, and I like getting to know her characters!

I enjoyed to stories but the first book had so many editing errors I nearly skipped the entire series. I initially though I was being anal but after reading a page for what seemed like the 5th time I knew it wasn't me. On the other hand I only briefly remember 1 or 2 errors in the 2nd book but it was nothing so slow my read or distract me from the story. The series is worth getting through the first book.

It's a fun romp and worth the purchase! Some adventure, good characters and excellent prose.
Apparently, though, the secret power of shifters is that they never do oral and those with vaginas can climax easily without clitoral stimulation!
The only other thing of note is that black people can (and do!) sunburn. Obviously Laura doesn't get out in the sun much. ;)

Fast & Fun read
I was introduced to Zoe Chant through her Fire & Rescue series which mentioned the Shifting Sands Resort. I was excited to start this series to learn more about some of the characters that had been introduced.
Each story is a fast read. Although I didn’t love the 1st 3 stories as much as I loved my firemen, the stories kept me engaged and wanting to read more. It was wild to see how much had gone on behind the scenes at the resort.

Shifting Sands Resort Collection 1 Books 1-3 by Zoe Chant is an excellent series. One full of mystery, adventure and finding ones true love. I really enjoyed the characters. The story line was very interesting, I didn't want to put it down and I was disappointed I was at the end. My free opinion Thanks

Brilliant
This is a great series. The books continue seamlessly and yet have their own adventures in them. I couldn't put them down once I started. And I love how the characters developed throughout the books so you still learn about them all. I am sooo looking forward to finding out what scarlet is.

Awesome Boxset
Each book in the Box set is about one couple who meet at a shifters only vacation resort. The characters are awesome, and the story itself is wonderful. It is not just a romance, but some action suspense in each book. The bad guys are ruthless, but the resort staff is up for the challenge.

Enjoyable trio of shifter romances
I like series and appreciated these three that start the Shifting Sands stories. The characters are interesting and each story has an element of evil to fight off. Each couple finds their true mate in the other and I liked the way the relationships developed while they found their happily ever afters.

All good stories!
This group of books are all well written easy reads. While based in a single location, they have a variety of shifters and storylines. Perfect weekend relaxing reads. Enough conflict to keep you engaged yet not overwhelming enough to keep flow charts so you can keep all the relationships straight.

Shifter paradise!
Absolutely wonderful read. The characters are well written, and the plots are exciting. And there's plenty of heat (and I'm not talking climate temperature)! If you love shifters, you're gonna love this collection. It was hard to put down once I got started! Definitely a must read!

A must read series
When I started reading the first story in this series, I quickly became captured by the excitement and adventures portrayed. There is a great deal of action and mystery to each story, along with plenty of steamy romance and some laugh out loud moments. A safe haven for shifters
I love all of Zoe's books and am slowly reading them in order since I had some in a scattered disarray. I love the progress of her stories but the Shifting Sands stories are different with the added suspense and drama. Extremely enjoyable read. You will not be able to put it down!

Amazing story line

Really fun series
These books are fast paced, sexy, and full of adventure. The environment of shifting sands is enchanting. If I was a shifter I would definitely vacation there. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Zoe Chant's books are like potato chips. One book is never enough. I have read many of Zoe Chant's shifter books and have loved every one of the book. Well done!! The characters are fun, colorful, humerous, and the damsels are rarely helpless.
