Blessed is the first book in The Greyblood Chronicles, a series of paranormal romance/mystery novellas. The following titles so far are Legacy, Gifted, Saintly, and Cursed.
Nine years ago a little girl was left traumatised in Stoney Hollow, Connecticut. At ten years old she wakes Christmas morning to find her entire family has disappeared. After a vigorous police investigation, they still had no clues, no suspects of any kind. For the years that followed, the girl would always be known as the Hollow Survivor.
Soon it was impossible to live with her name, so that too ceased to exist. Briar Henry was dead, and so she became Sullivan Dove.
Sully becomes a college student studying in Boston; her life has seemingly changed for the better - despite her 'gifts' railroading the 'normal' image she so desperately craves.
When a postcard arrives from an old town called Greyblood provoking her to visit, I'm afraid her life will never be the same again.

All alone?
Terrific start. When she was 10, she woke on Christmas morning to find her parents and brother gone. No trace of how or why has been found. Her aunt and uncle take her in but at the age of 12 she is put into the system when her aunt commits suicide. To hide her identity she has changed her name and hair colour. The only thing she can't change is her psychic gift. When a postcard is pushed under her door with a place she has never visited, she is torn. What will she find when she gets there? Are her parents, brother and grandmother really dead? She really is very trusting and a bit naive. Demanding answers would have been most people's first thought.
